Waited over 25 minutes to order and over 30 minutes to receive order. The fries were cold and the chicken very overcooked.

I came here for lunch after living in the neighbourhood for years. I was lucky to get to meet the…read moreowner and have a nice chat with him about the world, business, and sandwiches. I ordered a Waldorf Chicken sandwich and needed some help to pick it. The owner was really helpful to walk me through what to expect in the order and I narrowed it down. I was really happy with the sandwich. It was crunchy, warm, and savoury. The store was well stocked and of course empty given the health precautions in place. I hope to be back sometime in the future.

A friend of mine had also discovered this and decided to go in for coffee, so after that I ventured in for lunch. It was the best decision I made that day. The ambiance of this place was filled with the feeling you were in a busier city, but you're not. I was greeted right away, and I knew what sandwich I wanted, and was given a choice on what toppings I could choose as well as the soups they have fresh made daily and types they had for that day. For lunch, I ordered The New Yorker, which was smoked salmon and cream cheese. I had it on a toasted whole wheat bagel, with their dill and cucumber cream cheese, smoked salmon, cucumber and sprouts (you know it's a good lunch deli when they have sprouts!), It was absolutely delicious and the smoked salmon was so flavourful. I had ordered this with a soup and a drink. The total came to around $13 for the whole meal, but it was absolutely worth it. They also have gift cards, sandwich and coffee cards with the most clever design on it. I am recommending this place to everyone and I know I'll be coming back for lunch. I should have stopped in sooner!

We stopped there on our way to Toronto. Very cute, little place in the suburbs of London. It has a…read morelittle upscale vibe which we weren't expecting and looking for as we were in a rush to eat dinner and get going. Despite that, we decided to stay hoping it will not take long to get food, eat and go. The server was very nice, he provided us details on current specials and have us time to decide. I believe they change menu seasonally as some of the items I did see online were not on the menu. I went with the wild mushroom Flatbread and husband got their burger with fries. Food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. The Flatbread had a nice and strong mushroom'y flavor, fries were fresh and nicely seasoned and the burger was amazing. The sauce that they gave worn the fries was delicious. You could really taste that the food is higher quality. We also got two cheesecakes to go (espresso and vanilla with berries) but these were a disappointment. Not sure if because they were in the car for 3h (I still put them in the fridge for 30 minutes before we ate them) or they are just not the best. Not sure. They were also very tiny pieces for the price. The entire dinner was on a pricey side but we enjoyed our and I would recommend this place for a date night or if you want to get something more high end.

Based on reviews, we decided to stop at this wonderful restaurant in this charming (and hopping) neighborhood. The food was excellent! We especially enjoyed the beef bourguignon and the brie en croûte (although the brie could have been just a bit more melted). My oat latte was superb. But the thing that made our visit particularly special was the service. I called ahead to see if they had a patio so we could dine with our dog. I was told that although they have a sidewalk patio, it was closed because of inclement weather, but if we were willing to chance the weather, they would set up a table outside so we would be able to dine with our pup. We showed up and they pulled a table outside, and the server was a good sport about serving us in very windy weather. At least the rain stayed away!
