A friend of mine had also discovered this and decided to go in for coffee, so after that I ventured in for lunch. It was the best decision I made that day. The ambiance of this place was filled with the feeling you were in a busier city, but you're not. I was greeted right away, and I knew what sandwich I wanted, and was given a choice on what toppings I could choose as well as the soups they have fresh made daily and types they had for that day. For lunch, I ordered The New Yorker, which was smoked salmon and cream cheese. I had it on a toasted whole wheat bagel, with their dill and cucumber cream cheese, smoked salmon, cucumber and sprouts (you know it's a good lunch deli when they have sprouts!), It was absolutely delicious and the smoked salmon was so flavourful. I had ordered this with a soup and a drink. The total came to around $13 for the whole meal, but it was absolutely worth it. They also have gift cards, sandwich and coffee cards with the most clever design on it. I am recommending this place to everyone and I know I'll be coming back for lunch. I should have stopped in sooner!

Lightly battered and it was freshly fried. You can taste the freshness of the quality and it was delicious. However, this is when the 1 hour wait for entrees starts. When we finally did, the side orders did not come out correctly. The entree could also use more seasoning. Overall, the appetizer was great, the entree was average. And the overall experience was hard to describe, considering we waited more than 1 hours for the entree. Your experience may vary.

Despite that, we decided to stay hoping it will not take long to get food, eat and go. The server was very nice, he provided us details on current specials and have us time to decide. I believe they change menu seasonally as some of the items I did see online were not on the menu. I went with the wild mushroom Flatbread and husband got their burger with fries. Food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. The Flatbread had a nice and strong mushroom'y flavor, fries were fresh and nicely seasoned and the burger was amazing. The sauce that they gave worn the fries was delicious. You could really taste that the food is higher quality. We also got two cheesecakes to go (espresso and vanilla with berries) but these were a disappointment. Not sure if because they were in the car for 3h (I still put them in the fridge for 30 minutes before we ate them) or they are just not the best. Not sure. They were also very tiny pieces for the price. The entire dinner was on a pricey side but we enjoyed our and I would recommend this place for a date night or if you want to get something more high end.

The menu was extensive, with lots of options and the service was super nice - really accommodating and kept on checking in on us to make sure all was good, our coffees were topped and our stomachs were happy. Apparently the eggs benny here is absolutely fire and a must try. Their smoked bacon is also thick and cooked just right - as someone who doesn't even touch pork most of the time, I would say I have to agree! It was thick cut too, if that's your thanggg. I went with the avocado toast because I am a basic millennial and when it came, it was not what i expected at all! Garnished with crispy onions and green onions (which usually i am not a fan of at all), it truly elevated the flavour and taste of the entire thing. The toast did not get soggy and I absolutely loved it! Usually I am all for a basic bitch avo toast with some sesame seeds, salt and pepper but this was something I did not expect at all and I was pleasantly surprised! Overall, had a really enjoyable time here with some great company and I will 100% come back!

Iced latte was just foam and milk and no ice since it sat for a while before being brought to the table, the avocado toast had so much spread on it the bread was soggy and not very edible. Pancake and the Elvis 10/10! No one came to check on us, we tried to grab someone's attn and after a bit our waitress stopped by, cleared our table, I asked for more syrup and it was ice cold when delivered to the table, but hey, I guess it happens. Since I almost always gravitate towards Asian good, I got the chicken w'anh mi. It was a bit on the pricey side at around $9, especially since the best banh mi over ever had in my life was $3.50. But this is London and because of the lack of competition, things just cost more here. I can accept that. My first bite was delicious, the powerful flavored of the soy sauce marinaded chicken with the crunch of the pickled vegetables felt right. Unfortunately, by the third bite you realize they overmarinaded the chicken, leading me to finish off two bottles of water and wanting to taste anything else besides soy sauce after completing my meal. I was super sad because I really wanted to like it, but it's just mediocre. I wish I had just gone to benh thanh instead of having a sodium overload
