Worst experience I've ever had at a Chick-fil-a. At least 6 employees behind the counter with no customers and we stood for 5 minutes before someone bothered to acknowledge us. Then they acted like I was stupid for asking why there wasn't sweetener in my iced coffee and said that if the employee said they put it in there, then it was in there. If you're driving through Birmingham, keep driving. Don't stop at this one. read more

Continuing my last year of each month without a Yelp review, and for July, the last time was way back in 2010! I'm sure I went at least once in July 2010 as I went there upwards of once a week. When I lived in Birmingham, I was very close to this Chick Fil-A, and my office was about 7 minutes from home, so I'd often go home for lunch and eat what I had at home, Chick Fil-A, etc. CFA was my most common eating out lunch option. Top notch customer service, always friendly, always like robots responding with "My Pleasure". Even when busy, they were efficient with getting food ready. I always got the #1 chicken sandwich & medium waffle fries, which are great. I live less than 5 minutes from a CFA now, and I've shyed away from CFA in recent years due to being quite unhealthy, but I do have a free sandwich, so I'll be back at my CFA by expiration 10/13. read more

Almost every Chick-fil-A around the world is good and has a good vibe but I think one is a bit different. The workers all seem nice and to be working a lot but this place is always super slow to provide your order and the food is simply never been good here the last two times I came. My "large" fries were about halfway filled in the box and the Chick-fil-A sandwich I ordered was actually room temperature and made it not worth eating. Felt like it had been just laying on a counter all day long. I would absolutely suggest driving down the road and going to another Chick-fil-A rather than this one. read more

I ordered 2 chicken tenders for dine in. I received a marker for my table and sat down. I waited for quite a while, then I went to the front to ask about my order. I saw a to go bag on the counter with my name on it. I showed them my marker, stated my name, and asked about my order. They said it was still cooking. A few minutes later, they brought out my order in a to go bag. The same bag that had been sitting on the counter for probably 15 minutes. Needless to say, it was lukewarm at best. I have eaten here a few times and wanted to get an over all view of the operation/food quality. Like all chick-fil-a's they stay busy. Yesterday's service how ever was surprisingly bad.... I went to the drive thru around 9:58 am. I ordered a chicken biscuit and a Greek yogurt parfait... simple enough, have gotten this combo before.. the employee took my order and I paid through the app... things are as normal... after about 7 minutes i finally pull up to the window to get my food... she handed me 2 bags as always and off i went... well when i came to a stop sign i had tine to check the bag... to my surprise it was a fruit cup... so i call the store and talk to a woman who never gives her name. i state that had happened and i would like credit back for their mistake.. The lady then explains there has been a recall on the yogurt and they had swapped it out... mind you the guy in that took the order never stated this... so tue lady agrees to credit my account... fast forward a day... no credit... so now i paid for a parfait but received a lesser costing item i dod not want.. so because of this i will not be patronizing this location at all and i am sure to tell all my coworkers. read more

The staff at the Wildwood Chik Fil A are super friendly. Food is always fresh and tasty. If you watch your bill sometimes they have a survey opportunity which gives you a free sandwich emailed to you usually later same day. This is a good kid friendly spot. If only they had a ball pit! I mean, it's good, but I do not possess the rabid and fevered devotion to this chicken chain as its loyal fan base, of which my daughter proudly proclaims herself. However, with that being said, no one can argue that Chik-Fil-A does not stand out above other fast food places. Friendly service and consistent food served in a clean atmosphere. Really, it's another Chick-fil-A. Very rarely do they have a location that doesn't have it all down. Inside dining area is shut down due to COVID, but that's not a problem for these guys. They have a huge drive through area as well as curbside to go options. Food, well is always good and accurate. Even when you order from the app they get it right. Even down to the number and kinds of dipping sauces. They seem to have a large team that is ready to deliver food to the curb side to go spots, so waits are kept at a minimum. This trip was a snack (hash browns) and drink (large sweet tea). Both were really good and fresh. Hash brown container was totally full (not all locations fill them well) and the sweet tea was typical Chick-fil-A sweet tea. Couldn't ask for it to be any better. This is another great location with great staff and food. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered be Cobb salad with chicken strips and 2 packs of ranch dressing. When I got home and looked at my salad it only had corn, eggs and tomatoes. The salad was not supposed to have corn and there was no bacon on the salad. There was no ranch dressing on the bag at all. The sweet tea was absolutely too sweet I had to put extra water in it and I ordered an extra chicken strip that was fried way to hard and was very small. The only reason I didn't go back to the restaurant is because I have a child and it's cold outside. I will most definitely be calling the restaurant Monday morning, because this meal is unacceptable. My salad should've been as advertised. I feel like they just threw my meal together. It's just pretty much a bunch of lettuce. Not sure if I'd patronize this restaurant again. read more

I'm not sure if the way they take orders outside is efficient. I waited in a drive thru line for 15 mins without movement while the second line moved effortlessly. There were 5 employees standing talking. An employee finally came outside to assist with the issue. I feel we would have moved faster had we used the speaker. I've seen other Chick-fil-A restaurants that have a drive thru line dedicated for mobile orders. This would encourage customers to use the app and just check in when they arrive. I placed my order in the app then arrived at the restaurant only to get stuck in the drive thru line with very little movement. Glad they are open but hopeful they will reach out to other Chick-fil-As for tips on more efficient drive thru process. read more

I am SO disappointed in my visit to this location tonight. My sister and I went for fries, frosted coffee, and a milkshake. We pulled into the parking lot around 8:30PM and it was crowded, which we expected. What we didn't expect was the lack of discipline displayed by the drive thru employees. There were three employees working the drive thru - two females and one male. They were huddled in a circle laughing when we first pulled in and then proceeded to walk around talking amongst themselves and not greeting customers. We observed this for several minutes before the girl working the left side of the drive thru took the order of the vehicle in front of us. While she was taking that order, the male and the other female were standing next to us and at one point I heard the male yell "what the f&$*" as the other girl was standing there laughing. Meanwhile another car pulled up in the right lane and was watching the employees looking just as confused as we were until I finally heard the male tell the female working the right lane to "take that lady's order." At this time, we were finally able to pull up to place our order and the girl working the left lane did not greet us and really just looked at me until I began to order. They immediately cut us off to let us know that they were out of ice cream, so we cancelled our order and waited in line for 10 minutes just to exit the parking lot. I have never been a fan of this location since before the remodel because of the service and we only went to this location because it was conveniently placed near tonight's errands. We were able to leave this location and made it to the Vestavia store just 5 minutes before they closed, where we received exceptional and professional service. Overall the visit to the Lakeshore location was just a very disappointing experience and I know that these are NOT Chick-Fil-A standards. read more

I live in Selma, Al. My daughter cheers in Birmingham and I go to this Chick Fil A about once a week. Either they forget to put napkins in the bag or more importantly they have forgotten my salad dressing my salad upon multiple visits- the salad was my meal. Tonight I went through the drive thru and I checked the bag for the salad dressing & yay it was finally there. After I get back to pick my daughter up from cheer, go to eat my salad and guess what.... No dang fork to eat with. Beyond frustrated. Can you just give us what's needed please? $21 spent and can't even eat until I get back home- 1.5 hours away. Called the store to notify them and had to leave a vm. So my suggestion.... I went into chic fil a and sat at a table to order from my mobile phone. Within the first 10 minutes someone came and dropped off my beverage and said "Jason your food will be out shortly". I was excited because this seemed like a great experience. Next I waited and someone was walking around with a bag and came to my table. She said "Jason" I replied "yes" she threw the food onto the table and walked away. I was shocked by this especially from chic fil a standards. I was more surprised that it was packaged to go while I opted to dine in. The chicken sandwich was good as it normally is. The fries as you can see from the photo seemed to be under filled. The taste of the fries were cold and felt like they were old. I was excited to try the cookie but it was very hard as if it's been sitting past it's shelf life. I stopped by Chick-fil-a for a chicken biscuit and a diet coke this past weekend. We ordered for inside pickup, and when we got there, we had to wait a good 15-20 minutes for the food. I don't mind the wait when it comes to Chick-fil-a breakfast because it's so good. There are no COVID-19 precautions in order anymore, and the food is well worth the price. They offer dine in and take out, but I usually just order on the app. There is nothing like a classic Chick-fil-a breakfast. Plus, they were heart-shaped for Valentine's Day! 10/10 recommend! read more

My friend and I decided to grab Chick Fil A at this location. We went to order inside the restaurant and I ordered a chicken sandwich deluxe combo with a large sweet tea. The food did take a while to come out, however it was during rush hour so this is expected. The food was hot and fresh and was correctly how I ordered it so I was satisfied. The ambiance of the place was nice as well, the staff was very respectful, the interior was well designed and nice, and very clean as well. Ordered Chik-fil-A #1 on a bun with another Chik-fil-A breakfast sandwich. When I got to the window I was given the drink and asked to pull around to the lower parking lot-something about the buns were not ready. After waiting, I was given two grilled chicken patties in a bowl (both cold) and two buns (also cold) in clear wrap. I would not recommend this Chil-fil-A. Terrible management. read more

I have to start with this statement: I love Chick-fil-A. It is the only fast food restaurant I will eat in. Also, I worked at Chick-fil-A and know the quality of service and product that is expected. Not only have I had a bad experience once, but my experience has been bad 4 out of the 5 times I have come by. The service and the quality of food is less than desirable; I could get a better quality breakfast sandwich at McDonald's. When coming in with my last order, I had done the mobile pick-up (which I have done at least 10 times now) and am very familiar with the process. I stood under the pick-up sign, and it took a few minutes for an employee to notice me. When he did, he tried to ring me up at a register (you pay through the app). The employee had not been trained at all on how the mobile pick-up works! And then when I finally received my Egg White Grill (my absolute favorite from Chick-fil-A), it was cold. No lukewarm. COLD. I was in a rush and so didn't realize it until I took my first bite in route on the interstate. Don't go to this location! Something has got to change here. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because of the fabulous franchise that backs them up. read more

Quite possibly the worst chick-fil-a ever. Food is mid, condiments on mobile orders are non existent (and even if you put in the order notes "please add sauce to bag" they will not. The service is terrible. No "my pleasure" no "thank you" or "your welcome", no "have a great day", and no smiles. There have been multiple times I have found bugs in my drinks, I guess that's just some extra protein they would like to give you since the breakfast burritos have 2 nuggets in them. And WAIT TIMES ARE INCREDIBLY LONG. For example I waited 17 minutes for my order this morning and they still messed it up lol this chick-fil-a has lost the business of a signature status member.
