But, we were in the area for a race the next day, chicken sandwiches and fries are good pre race foods, and Chick fil a is one of the only fast food places that offers gluten free buns which I really appreciate. We ordered off our app, scanned our table number and an employee brought the food right to our table. You really can't beat the service at Chick-fil-a and they are typically consistent from location to location. Total madness. People would rather try to kill you in the parking lot than lose their spot in a line that stretches practically to Alabama. Once inside, there are people with no shoes and who tell the cashier, "I don't like chicken, what else can I get?" The Chick-fil-A in Gulf Breeze, my home town is very disappointing. Twice I was severe cold soup. Had to drive back to the restaurant to exchange. Was delivered the wrong salad. Had to drive back. Then yesterday got some soggy, mushy, greasy Fries. I did not have time to take them back, I had an appointment. I'm very tiered of returning items. I'm not a fast food person and rarely do I eat it. But, If I want a quick breakfast I'm usually not disappointed with Chic-fil-A. The place is usually clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I like their breakfast biscuit sandwich and their hash browns. Their coffee is pretty good too. This is consistently the slowest Chic Fil A location I have ever experienced. I've been stuck in the drive through for 40 minutes before with no way to exit. It's consistently 15-20 minutes at any time of the day. It's been this way since the pandemic. Every other location around here is super fast. I hosted a welcome home party for my husband after a 7 month deployment on Dec 28,2019. I placed all my orders on the app and came to pick it up only to be told the order never went through. The crew on duty that day told me to come back in an hour or so and they were able to crank out an order for two large nugget trays, two large Mac and cheese, and a large order of cool wraps. We expected up to 40 people and they literally saved the day! They could've easily said it couldn't be done but this team went above and beyond and was able to accommodate such a large order with little notice. One of the better Chick-fil-A's I've been to. One the route to Pensacola Beach it's a common spot for many on the way back, and the crowds here reflect it. Meanwhile, even when packed they handle the traffic well. In fact, or order was delivered to the table within 30 seconds of paying. The staff was helpful, on top of everything, quick to grab refills for guests and extremely friendly. They made you feel like they wanted to be there, which is rare at a fast food place. Personally, I rarely eat fast food, almost never, unless there's a Bojangles around. However, being with my young nephews, they frequent this place. And, I have to admit the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is pretty darn good and I like you can get it with a salad (and one that some with crisp romaine lettuce) rather than cheap, tasteless iceberg, like most chains use. Their kids meals are chicken tenders with healthy choices. This location is a great place for a quick meal, that won't break the piggy bank and does taste good, even for fast food. read more

Let me tell you why Chick-fil-A is awesome. Last night around 11pm my (very drunk) boyfriend and I were heading home from the pub crawl on the beach. My boyfriend insisted on getting Chick-fil-A even after I told him many times it was closed. He continued to say "no the lights are on! They are open!" So to prove to him they were closed, I pulled through the drive thru where the lights said "closed". I let him yell at the drive thru order entercom for a bit. We pulled forward and there was a cart in the way of the drive thru. My boyfriend got out and moved cart and scared the poor girl trying to close the restaurant down! She asked if we wanted food, I told her yes, but I'm aware you're closed. She told us to pull forward. What does she do?! She gave us a large water and a cold wrap! For free! How awesome is that?! But I do have to say the only down side is I had to listen to my boyfriend the whole ride home about how he was right that Chick-fil-A was open. read more

For a fast food joint this is the best there is. No burgers just chicken (as the name hints). My daughter loves this place because it has an indoor play area. I love this place because of the healthy food options for her. Grilled chicken nuggets, fruit cups and milk. They have books (and cardboard books for under 3) as the kids meal toys. I'm a fan of the wrap and my husband enjoys the spicy chicken sandwich on a wheat bun. The waffle fries are the best. The service at chick-fil-a is unlike any other fast good joint. Sir, ma'am, how can I serve you and my pleasure are all things you will hear. There are complimentary table mats for the kids that stick to the table. They will refill the drinks for you and if you have your hands full they will help carry out the food for you. It's the little things that sets this restaurant apart from its competition. So hungry and was glad to see this place open on July 4th. I never knew Chik fil A serves the regular menu during breakfast time.
