We visited Hooters on a Saturday afternoon, and the location really is beautiful. It's right on the water and surrounded by other fun-looking restaurants, which made it a great spot to stop and relax. The customer service was very good. All of the waitresses we interacted with were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the cocktails were definitely on point. Unfortunately, the food experience did not match the service. I ordered the Pensacola wings and while the flavor was delicious, 4 out of the 10 wings were not fully cooked, which completely ruined my appetite. The mushroom burger was just okay, as were the curly fries. On a positive note, the cinnamon swirl cheesecake was delicious and the highlight of the meal. Sadly, the experience took another turn at the end of our visit when I used the restroom. It was absolutely disgusting, which is never something you want to encounter, especially in a not busy restaurant. To make matters worse, after leaving I did not eat anything else for over 8 hours, my stomach felt queasy and ended up having to use the restroom twice (#2 very watery), which was not a good sign at all. I really hate leaving negative reviews, especially when the location and service were so nice, but I'm sharing this in hopes that management pays closer attention to food safety and cleanliness. With such a great waterfront location and friendly staff, this place has so much potential to do better. read more

I went in after fishing on the Pensacola Fishing Pier. I ordered wings and a beer. After the beer was served I was asked to leave because the server felt uncomfortable. Why? Because I had a condom in my phone case which I only removed to get my debit card out. After I explained and voiced how outrageous it was to be asked to leave the manager, a squirrely rude little fella, said extremely loud, LEAVE NOW! I WAS SHOCKED . If a grown up woman becomes uncomfortable because someone has a condom in their wallet she doesn't belong in the real world with a real world job. She should never leave her parents basement. We eat at Hooters at least once a month, mainly at the Memphis location and we typically order the same type of wings.... while on vacation we visited the PCB location.... so very disappointed. On this visit, we ordered 10 pc. Breaded wings, flats only and 10 pc. Breaded buffalo shrimp. But, when the waitress brought out the food the wings were naked, not breaded. I advised the waitress that we ordered breaded and she did acknowledge we did but said these are breaded and walked away. As another waitress walked by I asked her if these wings looked breaded and she agreed that they are not. So I asked for our waitress again. About 10 minutes later our waitress came out with more wings, mostly drums, and advised that we can have these at no charge. It was a nice offer, but we ordered flats only and breaded, and yet again these were not breaded.... so I advised her again that these are wrong but she insisted that they are breaded and said if we wanted flats we can wait another 15 minutes. We didn't want to argue but I told her these too are not breaded, and that We order them at least once a month so know howvthey look and taste.... she then got defensive and told us she's been doing this for fours years and that we are incorrect. We'll, we never got what we ordered so we ate half and threw away the others. BTW... they were also rock hard from over cooking.... see pictures. I came in on a Sunday evening and lucky for us the restaurant wasn't super busy. We sat down and were greeted quickly. They have outdoor seating, but we opted to sit inside since it was already dark. We arrived an hour before closing time. Oopsy! When you're on vacation you lose track of time plus it was Sunday so places were closing up. Our wings were great and the server was sweet. Our experience here was great. We were seated promptly and had an attentive server. My youngest doesn't eat much meat, and this was the first time I'd ever seen him eat every bite of chicken on his plate. We had a great experience and would definitely return. My son and I come to this Hooters regularly. Each time we come to eat here it gets worse. This is the last Time we will eat here.
