My 1st Bad Experience at a Chick-fil-A Ever! I will stand by my statement that Chick-fil-A is by far the best fast food restaurant in America. They are known for cleanliness, great service, and fresh quality food. I have been eating at Cick-fil-A for over 40 years and this is the first bad experience I've ever had. The Chick-fil-A in Forest Park was recently renovated so we thought we'd give it a try instead of the Stockbridge, Morrow, or McDonough Chick-fil-A (or Truetts) we usually go to in our area. The hostess seated us and took our order of Diet Coke & coffee, gave me a menu and since my wife was eating at the buffet she said go ahead and fix your plate. She told the waitress what our drink order was and asked her to bring them out. The food at the buffet was not as good as usual, but since it is covered my wife didn't see how bad it was. The bacon was way over cooked and greasy, the biscuits were hard and cold and people were just skipping over them. My wife requested fresh biscuits and someone did bring out fresh biscuits to her as well as other guests who were skipping over the biscuits. After about 10 minutes the hostess saw we did not have our drinks so she spoke with someone else. About 5 minutes later I gave up and went to the to go order for may food. It took about 7 or 8 minutes to get my food (which is longer than normal). The hostess came by to apologize, but I While I was waiting for my food I saw a server bring out the Diet Coke & coffee to the table. That person said that the drinks were late because she was on break. When I sat down with my to-go order my wife was finishing her meal so i ate mine. Another server came by and apologized saying that she though wee were only eating at the buffet. That doesn't explain why drinks were not brought out. This Chick-fil-A was staffed very well and people were standing around looking confused. There were servers hanging out at tables with guests having long conversations. I stand by my statement that Chick-fil-A is by far the best fast food restaurant in America; just not this one in Forest Park. It would be nice if someone from Chick-fil-A headquarters makes a visit as a customer and see for themselves what is going on here. read more

The food is surprisingly inconsistent for a Chick-fil-A as is the service. Usually with Chick-fil-A, you'll receive consistent, fast, and friendly service. This Chick-fil-A is probably the worst one I have been to, although all of the CFA locations are getting sloppy with their service, in my opinion. I frequent this CFA often since I work nearby, but lately I've been looking for somewhere else to buy lunch. Several recent visits have been disappointing, from missing items, to wrong drink given, and today, my Market Salad looked like someone had eaten half of it, and the blue cheese on the salad, and toppings were missing from my bag. Absolute slowest most unorganized curbside pick up I've ever seen. The drive thru was moving faster than curbside and it took 35 minutes to get my order from the time I pulled in!! I went 4/14/21 around 11:15. Will NEVER fool with them. People were almost wrecking trying to find places to cram their cars in. Someone ordered bags and bags of food and if that large order is the excuse for it being so slow then maybe they shouldnt accept same day large orders!!! read more

So I went to this Chick-fil-A because I was working in the area. The manager is friendly so that is the only reason I'm giving them a 3 Star rating! This chick fil a is terrible. Wait times here are ridiculous EVEN when you mobile order. Come here just about every morning and order curb side all to sit and wait 15+ minutes for someone to finally bring my food out. They've recently gotten rid of curb side (I guess cause they don't pay attention to those customers anyway) so I did carry out. Got there at 10:18 and waited 10:40 just to get a chicken biscuit and hash browns all for them to tell me they ran out of hash browns when I finally received my biscuit. Chick fil a is basically known for their top notch customer service but not this location, it's as if you're at Popeyes honestly. No apologies no accommodations don't expect any of that from this location. One time I ordered a well-done chicken sandwich in the drive-through only to get to the window for them to tell me they don't offer well done in the drive-through... This location has had better days, for it certainly doesn't have good days now! I visited the Forest Park Chick-Fil-A on 9-21-18. After waiting in the drive-thru line for at least 15 minutes, I reached the drive-thru window. Based on what I observed, the driver in front of me was having problems with his order. I too would meet the same fate after the server, who was handing out orders from the drive-thru window, approached my car with my order. Following my instinct, I looked in my bag and discovered my order was incomplete. I didn't have the condiments for my salad. When I reached the window and asked for them, the server and the cashier both looked clueless as to what I was talking about. They didn't even bother to apologize for the error. Furthermore, I still didn't get all my condiments! Long lines, incomplete orders, incompetent workers - no! I made a decision after this last visit: this was my LAST visit! I will never go to this location again. I love their food, but their customer service has dropped as low as the ground since its renovation. I understand in today's fast-paced society, you're pulled in a thousand directions at once. Therefore, an order will occasionally be wrong. After all, we're human. However, this seems to be common at this location nowadays. After doing some research, I've seen other recent complaints about this location. So I'm not alone in my dissatisfaction. As a customer, you deserve good service. Workers need to know that good service is what keep customers loyal to their establishment. Food is always good. Sometimes the fries aren't always super hot and fresh but it's always good. I really like the chicken tortilla soup. On a couple of occasions, they have given me chicken soup instead. I always have to check if they gave me the tortilla strips with it. Last week I received the worst experience ever with chick-fil-a. I waited over 30 minutes for a curb side pick up. The associate told me to circle around because my order was not ready. I could not wait any longer because I only have 1 hour for my lunch break. I ask the associate to credit my account because I had to get back to work. I have never visited a chick-fil-a like this. I had no idea this was the original concept when the owners created this establishment. Where to start? There is a dwarf house entrance (kids can enter through there or adults if you duck really low). There are three different order lines: one for order and dine-in, one for to go and one is a be seated to dine-in like a real restaurant. Maybe "real" isn't the best term but you get the idea. The menu is extensive: regular menu items, steak, hamburgers, various southern side items (fried okra, macaroni and cheese, green beans, sweet potato soufflé, many others), multiple desserts (cheesecake, ice cream, apple pie-turnover kind of, many others). I ordered regular strips and waffle fries but tried the sweet potato side item and it wasn't that great. It was suppose to be a soufflé but did not meet the mark. The diner side, mainly because that is what the area looked like, had booths along the wall with smaller tables and chairs organized in a somewhat crowded format. It was pretty tight living around after pushing two tables together to fit all of us but what can you expect... It's chick-fil-a not a normal restaurant lol The waitress took the orders (7 of us) and had them all separated for easy check out (pay at cash register) but she was very disorganized and mixed up many of the orders. I think it was because there were so many of us, who knows... Maybe I am just making excuses for her lol As first time customers we were given free desserts which we were given a few options to choose from. So, food overall: my chicken strips were not the best and usually they are on point. My fries were not fresh/hot upon delivery as a matter of fact that was one mixup because they were carried out later. Got somebody's attention since myself and the two guys waiting with me had been standing there this length of time, Just to see what the status of the order was. A few minutes later they finally brought it out unfortunately it was a Chick-fil-A sandwich and fries not the Bisquit I ordered. My husband was ordering his food. When he drove around to pay, they did not have his entire order. Some things they only give you if you come inside. That's fine, however the person taking his order should have said he is unable to order it without going in. They did not ask if he would like something else, therefore he had to park and go in to get more food after waiting for over 20 minutes. The food we did get was half the size we normally get. Went through the drive through. Ordered a number six on the breakfast menu. Sausage, egg, and cheese muffin. Asked to substitute the eggs for egg whites as I have a bad allergy to regular eggs. Told me my total and to pull forward. They made me sit in line about 10 minutes cause it was busy to then tell me that I have to come inside. I asked why and they said as of this week they no longer customize orders at the drive through. I was not in a position where I could exit my vehicle. All they could do is apologize and stare at me. After an awkward moment of silence I realized that was their way of telling me to leave. So I was forced to leave with no food. Thanks for not caring. Mr. Truett is probably turning in his grave. We love Chik-fil-a for its fast friendly service. We went there Saturday morning. It was busy, like every Chik fil a. We ordered our food and 5hevstaff was nice. We've been to much much busier locations before and the food seemed to come out before I even put my wallet away. This location was very slow. It took 10 minutes for the food to come out. We chose to dine in. The other striking difference with this location is the size of the chicken patty. We ordered one original chicken sandwich and one spicy. Both parties were very thin. It looked as though they had cut the Chiken breast in half to save cost. It was sad. Usually the sandwich is thick and juicy. This location the sandwich was thin and dry, the bottom bun was thicker than the patty. I wanted to write a message in the comment box but they didn't leave a pen so I chose to write a review. Hanging with Forest Park's finest!! All of the police in the city make this place their dinner destination, and who could blame them? I had never been to the Dwarf House, so I had no idea how awesome it could be. I love Chick-Fil-A anyway, but the Dwarf House has seating with table service, and they carry a full menu of options (breakfast served all day, entrees of chicken breasts and sides, and their yummy chicken tortilla soup) with all of the caloric information listed beside the entree description. I love the full disclosure because I have to really watch what I eat, and I can choose items that fit within my calorie budget quite easily. The service was amazing and extremely sweet. I had breakfast for dinner as I chose the waffle plate (Belgian style waffle) with syrup and sausage with a large fruit bowl. Delicious! My friend had a breakfast sampler platter, complete with fried chicken, pancakes, eggs, and grits. It looked unbelievably good-especially the fried chicken. A special note: they offer an all you can eat breakfast buffet on Saturday mornings! The service is absolutely horrible. I love Chick fil A and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Wait in fact.... I've never had a horrible experience until this one. I went through the drive thru to get a coffee and the young lady spilled hot coffee all over my fingers. The cup was passed to her without the lid being properly secured. The young lady quickly turned and told the floor manager that I got burned and she took my cup back. The manager in the pink shirt looked at me and turned her back. Then she comes to the window and says can you pull forward and we will bring out your coffee. She (the manager is in a pink shirt) never addressed the spill, the burn on my finger or offer ice or extra napkins. I told her I would not pull forward that I just got burned by the coffee and I wasn't moving forward while waiting on another coffee. Coffee was the only thing I ordered! She turned around and announced to those at the window that, "The customer refuses to pull forward" and completely ignores the situation. The young lady comes to the window with my coffee about 20 seconds later and I ask to speak with the manager. The lady in the pink shirt comes to the window and I explain that she was told at least 3 times that I was burned and that she was a very poor example for a manager.
