I always judge people for writing reviews of fast food places but I just really felt the need to share my opinion on this location. Even though the parking lot is stupid and there is ALWAYS a line that's at least 15 minutes long, the employees here KILL IT. I've never had a miserable person take care of me. (and between you and me I probably go here way too much.. I'm surprised they don't know my name) They're always super nice, super adorable, and honestly, even if my food ends up wrong (which it only did once but that was taken care of), my experience is always great. And they stand in the rain/snow/sleet/wind, no matter what. That's a little cray but you do you. Blahblahblah, generic review, I know. But this place always makes me happy! & the Chick Fil A down the road never makes me happy. 8/10 would for sure dive into their "probably not homemade, but I don't really care its still delicious" mac and cheese with a side of crispy nuggets and a giant shake. read more

I am truly disappointed in the Elkton location near the WalMart. I drove thru and placed my order. I was expecting to grab my breakfast without incidence. The large white youth picked up my order, saw I was Black, sat it back down, came out and asked me to pull forward and wait. After he served the five vehicles behind me, he walked towards the rear to have a smoke. His Mexian buddy in the booth had a nice laugh at my expense. Of course, I never touched the spiked food. OK, you all know Chick-fil-A is the best, and have great service, and the restaurants are very clean, and their workers are very respectable and respectful towards the customer! So today I ordered some mac & cheese, and some Chick-fil-A original fried patties, with no bread. I ordered about 12 of these breakfast time Chicken, patties, and a cold breakfast fillets, and there for people who don't want bread with their chicken! The mac & cheese, I ordered six of those in the medium size and the medium. If you ask me, looks like a small size, and I would hate to see what the small sizes of the medium is medium? That kind of made me feel like I was not getting what I paid for size wise, but you know everything nowadays is so much more expensive and the sizes are much smaller than What they use to be, and for a higher price? OK so I can overlook the fact that the mediums are really small to me, but I don't like the fact that they don't fill the containers to the rim or to the top! So again, I feel like I'm getting ripped off and they're filling my medium cup, which is really small, only about 90% to the top? Is this the way they're doing business nowadays out there in Old " fast food land, so maybe I am living in the 1980s again? So I get DoorDash to deliver it, and they did it very fast, and they Forgot to bring my mayonnaise packets like they always do even though I write it in the instructions section on the DoorDash delivery page, you know where you put special instructions of how you want them to handle your packages and food. So I get my chicken filets, and I take two of them out to make a sandwich, and they're small, so it's nice to have two if you're putting them on regular bread, and you're hungry, and don't you know- I bite into it about three bites, and the chicken on one of the patties starts getting crunchy like a cooked piece or a boiled piece of celery crunchy, which means as I would know, because I cook a lot of chicken in my life, that it means it hasn't been cooked the proper amount of time and it's a little under done? So again, I'm disappointed that they probably rush these fillets because they had to make so many at one time, they're probably not used to cooking 12 at a time for one customer on a weekday? So that was disappointing and that was the first time that this has ever happened at this location, or for me, ever, at Chick-fil-A in general, so it was surprising and disappointing, but more surprising!! OK, so I bite into the mac & cheese, which is only 90% full, and you know that it taste kind of plain, and almost like Stouffer's frozen mac & cheese, and it needs salt, and if you think I'm the problem, one of my kids came to me and said daddy the mac & cheese was kind of plain today I had to put a lot of salt on it! Now, you know most kids don't lie about their fun food-especially when they're young and there's nobody around that they're trying to impress, or show off around in the room, it was just me and him, and he said Daddy macaroni is kind of boring, but it's good? You know, I purposely ordered the mac & cheese from Chick-fil-A over Popeyes macaroni because I felt like the quality of Chick-fil-A is always there and more consistent than Popeyes, and I always felt that Chick-fil-A is managed much better than Popeyes at most locations, but in this case I was wrong, and I wish I would've gone to Popeyes for the mac & cheese, because now I'm stuck with four remaining medium size mac & cheese, portions of plain and boring Pasta.... But let's keep it real, the mac & cheese from Chick-fil-A still taste, pretty good, and I would give it an eight out of 10 for fast food, mac & cheese, and you know it wasn't that long ago that there was no good mac & cheese in the fast food game? So I'm still OK with a boring Chick-fil-A mac & cheese, and I just feel like maybe they didn't season it properly, or it was rushed to the oven? Most of the time it's a 10 out of 10, but today, old Chick-fil-A only gets a seven out of 10- on overall food taste and quality! I will go back again, because that's how good Chick-fil-A is when it's done, right, and nine times out of 10 , it's been done right over the years, atleast in my experiences! Unacceptable. I was asked to pull out of drive thru line to wait for my salad. After a half hour wait, my chicken sandwiches were cold.

This store is pretty bad for chic-fil-a standards. The portions are horrible for what you pay and food comes out cold often. Also, the chicken sandwich has changed and is much smaller and seems like poorer quality. It is a 50/50 chance you take that you will get good food, or bad. Tried dine-in mobile ordering for the first time today. Everything worked well. Placed the order on the CFA app, entered the table number, and shortly thereafter an employee arrived with our food. I always appreciate how they accommodate special orders with ease - no pickles, no problem! It was nice to be able to place a second order on the mobile app for a milkshake while finishing up our food - delivered right to the table! This place underwent a complete renovation not long ago. We stopped here for a quick bite on the first leg of our journey. It's the typical Chick-fil-A with great food and service and a sucky parking lot. This one is located in the Walmart parking lot and is always packed. They had cones blocking off part of the lot making everything worse. Looking to keep it as quick as possible we consulted the Fil-A's website and found this newish looking outpost in the middle of nowhere by the MD/DE border. Overall things were uneventful with one exception. Even though it was early afternoon and things were very dead there were a ton of employees all over the store. Seriously speaking for every person eating inside there were three or four employees mostly just standing around attempting to look busy or following the owner around since he was there. The fact that Chick-fil-A shut down to remodel their drive through did not help at all. I waited in the drive through line for 45 minutes for 2 milkshakes. I watched 20 cars get served in the lane next to me before I got my order and they got milkshakes also. Absolutely unacceptable service under any circumstances. Shame on the owner/ manager to allow this to happen. Why not open more restaurants if you can't handle the volume, McDonalds does it??? Eat at your own risk. I had a minor experience with my mother a few weeks ago -- they gave us the entirely wrong food in the drive thru. Ok, just a mistake. My mother stopped by for a regular chicken sandwich and now has been suffering from food poisoning for 3 days. She called the manager and the manager's response was "try to stay out of the snow this weekend!" ... Excuse me? It's so disappointing that this store exists in such a wonderful company. While I love their chicken, I have grown to HATE their customer service. My experience yesterday at 2:00 pm---- The ketchup was empty and I had to wait 7 minutes by the register before I could ask someone for some. They then told me it would be on the condiment counter (which it wasn't). I asked someone else, who rolled her eyes, and then walked away as she pointed for me to try the other counter (which I had). After pulling off and driving for a while I take a sip of my strawberry milkshake and it tasted like sour milk. I smelled it and it smelled sour as well. I didn't feel like driving back so I basically wasted my money. I was so disappointed because I was looking forward to drinking my shake. Not your average fast food joint. Finally went inside because a friend told me they had a play area for kids. I've never been so impressed! EVERYTHING was immaculate, the climbing area was big enough for me to get into (incase little one got stuck), the staff was beyond friendly, helpful and courteous. The high chairs have hand wipes & plastic sticky table mats. The tables were cleaned with individual disposable towels. And they have Mommy Valet! For my toddler and i, this place is a God send thank you :) Especially compared to Mc-what's-his-face place down the street, which is disgustingly dirty and full of homeless people who shower in the bathroom! Went to Chick-fil-A, ordered dinner for myself and my wife and drove home. Everything we got tasted fine...only one problem... I did NOT get my Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich with Monterey Jack cheese that I planned on having for my dinner. It was too far to drive back and I had had a very tiring day so I called to talk to the manager to let them know about the mistake and discuss how they wanted to handle the situation. Instead of getting to talk to a human being I got an answering machine. Guess I will hear from them eventually but for dinner I am having a couple of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. unacceptable experience! , if I could give zero stars I would!... first, I always go to the Elkton, MD chick fil a location because I literally leave 5 minutes up the road. on the night of 10/03/22 I encountered a unpleasant experience all behind whats supposed to be a less than 10 min order process Depending on order volume. 1. I was rushed with my initial order. 2. I had to ask the next employe responsible for payment to add to my order because it was not taken care of prior to. 3. the next employee brings me the wrong order Size. 4. makes me wait 5 minutes to then tell me I have to be up charged .42 cents for the large when THEIR employee messed up!!! 5. pull ofF and notice my drink was wrong! got home and called the manager (mind you the one who never came out to address my concerns). this young man literally was more worrieD Bout the team members name being incorrect on the receipt (so I didn't blame the wrong person- not my job to know either) than my actual concerns !!!! long story short manager agreed that his employees messed up and said he can give me a free Hi-C drink. at that point everything wrong with my order, time, and experience felt worthless and it's not even about free stuff because I pay everything there without ever using the app for free stuff. it's the piss poor customer service that if anywhere is beyond unaccepta le at chick fil a.
