My wife got her usual tuna, I got a cold cut combo, lots of vegetables. This is actually our second stop at this location. Ironically almost one year apart. We were on our way back from the annual pilgrimage to Wake Forest University, to visit my son and see a football game. Great game, although Wake lost 41-38 on a late field goal by Louisiana. Also, can't not mention this, ran into a couple also coming back to MD, from the WF game. It was family weekend, so the odds make a bit of sense, but still. Anyway I am actually writing this to salute a wonderful elderly lady working there who was by far the hardest working soul in the place. She is apparently the plumber, the cashier, the conscience of the place. I accept being accused of being sexist, but why was a septegenarian (at least), the one unclogging a toilet when there were two able bodied men in there 20's standing around. She had to run, picture that, from her maintenance duties to check us out. The place was clean, I suspect she did that. The drink area was well stocked and organized, I suspect she did it. Do better young American native born men, do better.
