Just went through the Drive-Thru hassle at Chick-fil-A on Maple St in Carrollton GA. In short: Wasn't worth $20 or the 30 min wait(!) & I won't be back. I got in the drive thru line at like 2:20pm today & moved thru the line all the way to the very end & had to inform the employees my order was never taken after they tried to hand me a bag with a chicken sandwich in it. They took my order but it took an additional 10 min to get my food and this was after waiting about 20 minutes in the line. So 30 minutes to get this meal it should have been comped but it wasn't & they didn't even offer. $19.90 for 4 Strip Meal (fries & bottle of water) & a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. Wasn't worth the 30 minute wait & wasn't worth the $19.90 my card was charged. And they didn't give me a receipt or tell me how much my order was going to be. We don't hardly go to CFA, but we decided to give it a shot today. Took about 15 minutes to get through the line before the lunch rush, but after driving off realized both my kids meals did not include a toy and I specifically asked for grape jelly and did not get any. Everything was correct on receipt, but was not fulfilled in the order. My kids cried the entire ride home because they weren't getting a toy (let's be honest, the only reason I even buy a kids meal). If they are out of toys, we would have gladly taken an ice cream, but with such a long line behind you, you feel rushed to just take your stuff and go and not check everything. Just disappointed if they want to keep the line moving quickly that they would at least make sure everyone's order is right. I don't think we'll be back unfortunately. read more

I have gone here about once a week for the last several years. Over the past 8 months or so about 90% of the time my order is wrong, missing something or not correct for some reason. First time I have eaten a grilled chicken sansdwich in quite some time. The sandwich would have been fine except for the fact that the grill had not been scraped or cleaned probably all evening. The grill marked meat was full of black gunk from the grill on both sides. I wish that I had taken a picture of the burnt grill residue on the sandwiches that my wife and I had. It was like burnt charcoal from cooking on an open grill. The recessed areas were completely full of burnings from the grill. I'm having breakfast at Chic fil a this morning! I've shortened the name to "Chick" because we go there pretty often. My boys love, love, love the chicken mini's which is a chicken nugget in a small, bite-sized honey roll (YUM!). I like the chicken biscuit with pepper jack cheese. The atmosphere is clean, positive and bright! The food is consistently good. The staff there have big smiles and really seem to love working there - which shows. My whole experience speaks to the local owner/operator, David Daniels and his management team. It also speaks to the company itself and it's leader, Dan Cathy who represents the company well. Along with being a great place to eat, their business is founded on Biblical values that they live out and stand upon. This location is the best fast food I have ever been! The food is always made fresh and the place is always so neat. But the reason why I am writing a review for a fast food chain is not the food, but the SERVICE! Their service is ridiculously amazing! The staff are always happy although they are busy. I have came here thousands of time and never had a single bad service. I always wondered if the staff here is getting paid with gold because they are just so nice, friendly, and wonderful! This is the best fast food location ever! Unlike other fast food restaurants, you can tell their workers are pissed off or unsatisfied, irritated, disgusted, underpaid, rude people. But not here. So, kudos to the management for keeping the staff so obviously happy. You can see it through their service! Once, they forgot to put lettuce and tomatoes on my sandwich, so I asked for it, and they totally gave me a new sandwich and told me to keep the other. Now, sometimes, restaurants will do this to be a jerk, but they were truly apologetic and all smiles when they did this. I was impressed, and yet embarrassed because all I wanted was lettuce and tomato on the side, and they totally went above my expectations. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this place a 5 star is the fact that it is a fast food chain, and also, it is located by a high school so the kids come here all the time and they can tend to be loud and rowdy. Part of what made this particular location great was was the friendly deminor of the all the staff and their strides for diversity in their hiring along with the efficacy of their service and the food was great. I am not sure what this NEGATIVE change is but the women outside are very rude now and gross. One girl is coughing in her hand and taking people's cards...They get attitudes when you ask to see the menu (even though it's right in their hand..), they get attitudes if you're taking too long to order one girl started tapping her foot on an older woman's car tire. Also the woman in front of me took up a bunch of time because one of the girls decided to drop the food in her car window. Not hand it to her literally drop it in the car.... I am not sure what happened there but seriously get it together. I normally tip the people taking the orders and delivering my order to the car but nah. I'll keep that $5 and give it to some kid in Kroger or use it to gift a Starbucks gift card to someone else.
