We had one cocktail each, steak and chicken and it was under $100 minus the tip. That's nice!!! Cocktails...the star of the show was the Ashland Sunset....ya had us at Amaretto. So good it's a must!! Now to the food part and I'm gonna be honest cause you know that's how I roll. My sister ordered the filet and I ordered the Tuscan Chicken with Gnocchi. The food reminded me of catered food you would get at a so so wedding. The chicken medallions were just blah. Something about it tasted artificial. Processed or something. I can't put my finger on it but when I think Chophouse I think high quality & this didn't quite make the mark for me. However, for the price it was a good meal. It was served with a side salad which was crispy and fresh. I went with the house made ranch dressing, which I greatly enjoyed. When dinner arrived you could see the steam coming off the food from. When I cut into the ribeye it was cooked medium, just as requested and the juices were falling out all over the plate. My steak was tender, flavorful and delicious! The loaded baked potato, minus cheese, was also hot and tasty. Ashley took great care of us! She was friendly and attentive. I was in line tonight and with another person in front of me and the clock struck 8:00 and the young woman at the counter literally told us, "Sorry, that was the last customer. We close at 8." I've never been in line at a counter business in my life and been turned away because of hours. Second, the sandwiches here made with overly thick bread but the meat portions are paper thin. These are not sandwiches, they are bread with a hint of meat. I always get the pizzas here as thst is all they offer that is worthwhile. Unfortunately, though, there is... Third, they haven't changed the menu since they opened. It's bee. the same damned options for the past few years! People say they have a favorite (always pizza) at Fuel and that's because they can never get a new option. This is a lazy business that had a great beginning but one which doesn't listen to its customers at all. They've been told about the hours, the fat bread, and the lack of new options by many people, and they feign a politeness that tells you that they don't value your opinion.
