It works great, but the squirrels were still able to get to it and attempt to access the food because the pole holding the feeder is too close to the deck railing it is attached to. So, we were on a search for something to elevate the feeder more. After unsuccessful searches in our area, decided to go see what we could find at Wild Bird Depot. Luckily, they had just 1 left of what we needed! We usually don't frequent this shop because the prices are high compared to the big box stores, but sometimes you just have to go with it! And we did! Along with various bird type items, there are various other things to purchase ranging from NH themed t-shirts and sweatshirts to decorated wine glasses and wine racks and wooded hitches. I'm not sure what some of these things are doing in a bird themed shop, but they were there. Will we go back? Yes, if we are looking for something very specific!
