Plenty of TVs throughout the bar with soccer games going on. There is American sports items on the walls throughout. Prominent is the Green Bay Packers. A great selection of beers. I had three large Hefeweizens. The place has a full kitchen. You can get burgers, sandwiches and entree-type plates of food. The paper napkins are red, white and blue. A bit cheesy, but cute. I went for the turkey sandwich. Quite good. Smoking is allowed, but wasn't bad the night we were there. The restroom is upstairs. Sigh.

My friend and I took a day trip to Potsdam and stoped by Extrablatt for lunch before going to Sansoucci. We asked to sit outside to enjoy the sunny day and were seated immediately. We were a bit surprised at the number of menus (3-4 on the table) and had plenty of food options to choose from! I ended up ordering the Italian currywurst, mostly out of curiosity, and thoroughly enjoyed the twist on a classic German dish. As I don't particularly enjoy beer, I decided to try a fruit beer, which was much more to my taste. The only downside to my experience was the smokers sitting upwind of us, but I suppose that's inevitable in Europe.

We tried milkshakes in Germany on different occasions, and none of the times have they tasted anything like American milkshakes. It doesn't taste bad, just different. If you're open to trying something different, then definitely go for it. But, if you're expecting it to taste like the milkshakes in the US, you'll be disappointed.
