Good solid bar with an American sport theme going on. And it is just around the corner (walking…read moredistance) from our hotel, Intercity Magdeburg. Plenty of TVs throughout the bar with soccer games going on. There is American sports items on the walls throughout. Prominent is the Green Bay Packers. A great selection of beers. I had three large Hefeweizens. The place has a full kitchen. You can get burgers, sandwiches and entree-type plates of food. The paper napkins are red, white and blue. A bit cheesy, but cute. I went for the turkey sandwich. Quite good. Smoking is allowed, but wasn't bad the night we were there. The restroom is upstairs. Sigh.

It's a pretty expansive menu, and they offer English menus. We all ordered different types of burgers, which came with fries and coleslaw. Honestly, everything tasted fine. Nothing super amazing, but not bad either. Although, if you really want an American experience.. I'd pass on the milkshakes. We tried milkshakes in Germany on different occasions, and none of the times have they tasted anything like American milkshakes. It doesn't taste bad, just different. If you're open to trying something different, then definitely go for it. But, if you're expecting it to taste like the milkshakes in the US, you'll be disappointed.

Allgemein Waren heute zum ersten Mal im Elbdampfer. Der ruhige Innenhof war trotz Hitze sehr angenehm schattig und schön begrünt. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Die Speisekarte ist nicht überladen und dennoch sehr vielfältig. Das Abendessen kam überraschend schnell und war sehr lecker. Die selbstgemachten Fischstäbchen mit Kartoffelschnee begeisterten unser Kind. Sehr gutes Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre! Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Bedienung Eine sehr nette Bedienung. Die Damen waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen Das Essen war fantastisch. Schon auf den ersten Blick war zu erkennen, dass die Gerichte frisch zubereitet waren und nicht aus der Tiefkühltruhe kamen. Absolut begeisternd! Das Ambiente Ruhiger und schattiger Innenhof mit angenehmer Hintergrundmusik. Lädt zum Längerbleiben ein. read more
