We were all annoyingly drunk and craving pizza. The bartender was very tolerant of us and even helped us to properly order our pizzas. There were other patrons in there who were obviously annoyed with us, but the bartender kept his cool with us and made the end to our evening quite pleasant!!! The pizza is delicious!!! I ordered cheese and peperoni which the bartender quickly informed me was not what I thought it was and that it would be big banana peppers with cheese...I decided to give it a try anyway and very glad I did!!! I ignored reviews and came because it was late night Saturday, little else was open. Apparently, Route 66 was a great diner from the 90s-10s, but filed for bankruptcy years ago and never recovered.
