The website says touch-less car wash and that's what I need since I can't run my car through a machine . Get here and all three touch less car wash bays stacked with construction equipment . Maybe they should put that on their website . Bays over grounded - right off Main Street - better places to go read more

Chicagoland Car Wash - Outside - Car Wash Near Me - Niles, Illinois

Ive always enjoyed using this car wash, both the self serve areas AND the automatic washes. I only have 1 issue with the touchless auto washes...they really don't get the car as clean as I think it should for what you pay for the washes!! Other than that, I have no problem with this place! read more

"If you dont understand english, you shouldn't be in this country" those are the words the person in the picture, who i believe is the owner, said to my mom when we had a little issue with the machine not taking the money and my mom called him to help, speaking fully in english, he gave us the money back and my mom told him "you are very kind thank you" After coming to this car wash for years because yes its a good carwash, there's almost always a long line here and other than the auto wash it offers a self service station, we will not be coming back here anymore. Any business can be amazing but when you're met with disrespectful comments and attitude it not worth coming back. Thank you for reading have a nice day :) read more

I love Chicagoland Car Wash! They have three automatic touchless bays, all 100% touchless and they do a fairly decent job. Touchless carwashes are a dying breed, and I'm happy that this place is still around. They close at 11pm every night, which is nice if I ever need a last minute late-night wash. Prices are reasonable and they have a variety of wash levels to choose from. I really use this place for upkeep/maintenance washes; I hand wash my car once a month or so (or as needed) and then come here periodically to keep up the shine. I don't recommend the touchless bays for cars with lots of built-up dirt and grime because the no-contact will not get all layers of dirt completely off. It's not what they're meant for. My only minor complaint is the dryer time feels rather short, so I usually towel-dry afterwards. I can't speak on their self-service wash bays, but I see people using those often. Chicagoland Car Wash is all around a much better experience than going to the touchless carwash at the Shell on Harlem and Golf nearby--don't waste your time there, go here instead. read more

Very busy place as there are few choices for self service up here in this area. I would recommend but get there early as the lines get crazy on Dempster. read more

Change machine works great , so you don't need a pocket full of dollar bills. I can easily clean my whole SUV for $5or $6 read more

very good car wash, has touchless bays as well as hand wash bays. works well with bugs on cars as well as tree sap. my car is covered with layers of sap and the wash gets it out. Can be busy some times, BUT it does a good job and worth the money and coming back read more

This place does the job and really performs a good touchless wash experience. The prices are comparable to others but I value this place because of its touchless option. It also does not have tracks your car has to drive through in order for you to be in the right location. This is key for all you folks that are worried about your wheels getting scratched up. Wish the area was bigger for the auto wash lanes but it works read more

My go to car wash. Cheap prices, Automatic touchless and always gets my car looking right.

Local Spray n Go or Automatic Booths. My car was a wreck from winter, couldn't see out of the windows. Drive a black car, but it looked white from road salt. Rolled into a spray booth, deposited $4 in quarters. Washed and Rinsed till the next time. Just what I needed when I needed it. read more

Its getting worse and worse. The automatic washes leave decent amount of soap on the cars. The dryers barely dry and they keep raising the cost! I have been coming here for years. It just seems like management/owners don't provide the quality for the cost that they are charging. This isn't the first time that I leave there with soap on the car. I just decided that this time I have to take pictures to show the poor quality. read more

Chicagoland Car Wash - One corner back and front left with soap on it. - Car Wash Near Me - Niles, Illinois

I always go for an automatic car wash. Not terribly expensive and it's finished in less that 5 minutes. Prices are fair for you get. Expect to dry or wipe your car after the wash to ensure it's spotless and all the bird poop is removed read more

Owner is very rude. I used the machine to get quarters out only to be yelled at by the owner asking "What do you need all those quarters for?" I believe they have tokens now. This business also says credit cards accepted on Apple Maps but my most recent visit there all the bays and automatic wash have blue painters tape on them and written in sharpie it says "Cash Only." read more

I just visited this car wash place for the first time today! Honestly, I was amazed at how simple it was. First you can pay a maximum of $5 for a full self service wash that includes: soap, rinse, wax, rinse, and drying. I had quite a lot of fun using the very powerful hose. My car went from normal, dusty to full out blown new car! They have dispensers where you can buy cotton clothes to wipe down excess moisture in between the car doors for $1.25. You get THREE towels. Additionally, the fragrance of the soap and wax are cherry and grape flavored. I am definitely making this place my go to car wash place! read more

Great touch less car wash!!! Lots of suds and we'll rinsing! Quick and easy. Very nice personnel too

Easy access heading east on Dempster, rarely crowded, automatic, and almost touch-less process -- only problem or concern has been the force or volume of the hot air for drying. Nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and public offices/courthouse often lead me to this area. One good wash at this location and my car can go weeks without another cleaning. read more

I used this wash for years. Nothing special, same old quarter guzzling machines as ever. Foam brush heads look as used a chicago city street sweeper. If u use them on your paint once youll have a lifetime of scratches. I have a truck and would use the power washer modes only. I was a weekly customer until today. I happened to do a little offroad and pulled into the "powerbay" today. This bay is specifically for dirtier vehicles as it as higher psi. When i got out to put money in the machine the owner ran over to me in the rudest most condescending tone abd told me to leave. I asked him if he was serious he said yes. Ive been all over the country never heard this. Why do you have a powerbay? Im not spending another cent here and I suggest you don't either. I mean you cant even wash properly for $15 bucks and theres so many better washes in the area for that price and the owner is nuts treating customers like that. I was literally trying to put money in the machine and he just told me to leave like i was loitering or something. No problem read more

The owner called and started to argue with me about his dryer in the automatic bay not working - will be taking this up with the Chamber of Commerce and the Village - to call and customer and berate them after interrupting my meeting for me to answer - big no no. Been going here since it opened and will NEVER return after this encounter. What an asshole - and he has all of my details - name, address, phone and even my car. Won't get a refund and if something happens to my car or residence.... read more

As one person who made a review on this self car wash, you will find 8 self automated car wash bays and 2 automatic ones. Furthermore, the vaccum hoses also can be found looking next to each one of the car wash bays. I rated the car wash business based on location, place of business, employee support, pricing, hours of operation and quality of service. Location: 5 stars Place of business instructions: 3 stars Employee support: 2 stars Pricing: 5 stars Quality of Service: 3 stars Hours of Operation: 4 stars Pricing has alot going for this place because it is cheap. It costs only $5.00 for a basic exterior car wash lasting only 10 minutes. For pricing, I give it 5 star. This business has an excellent location in a shopping mall with ease of access to the busy Dempster street. Nobody will have a problem coming into the mall area or out of it. The business itself faces the street. For location, I give the business a 5 star. Place of business has alot of signs and instructions using the equipment of this particular car wash. However, I feel people from out of town may have confusion using the equipment. I feel they should have a main large sign giving a map of the carwash business. On this main map, you will find instructions using the equipment and prices. This map itinerary of the carwash can be similar to the map itinerary people see in large shopping malls. For place of business instructions, I give 3 stars. Now you will NOT get any employee/ customer support from this carwash business . Since its an automated car wash, the owners do not want to have any employees so they can milk this business like a cash cow. However, people may uncover equipment failure, no return of their money from the coin machine and possible damage on their vehicle. At least the owner should put video surveillance cameras to protect the business and the customers using the services. They could even have a sign with a contact emergency phone support. So I give 2 stars for customer support of this car wash business. However, the contact number may be somewhere printed on the vending area for this business. As for quality of service, I had no problems using the automated car wash bay. The automated car wash cleaned the mini van making it look shiny and new. I had used the self automated car wash in the past. And I never had any difficulty using the equipment. However, I felt the vaccuum hose didn't have enough strong suction picking up the dirt particles, dust, and grime from the carpet area of the mini van. I give it 3 stars.. Hours of Operations. Someone did make suggestions on longer hours and earlier time frame. Yes, your typical 9-5 er work force will not have the time to come in business hours. However, they have longer hours than other car wash locations which fits the bill for everyone. They open 7am until 11 pm. Nobody should complain because most places close at 6 pm or even 5 pm. I give 5 star for hour of operation. Even though, I don't want to give 5 stars to places with no customer support. It is very difficult to find an automated car wash open after 5 p.m. In conclusion, I give this car wash place a 4 star. read more

I love this place. These kind of car washes are unfortunately a dying breed. They are being replaced by drive thru washers with the brushes. I dont want any of those large brushes touching my expensive cars. I drive out of my way to come here. read more

If you are like me then driving a clean car is an absolute must. After all, the purchase of a car is typically the second biggest purchase one makes after a home. It makes sense to have a sense of pride in and take care of your investment. Now when it comes to car wash bays, not all of them are created equal. Almost all the other automatic washes in the area use rotating brushes that come in contact with your car and use friction to clean it. Imagine taking the same brush and cleaning dirty cars over and over again all day. It won't take long for debris to deposit and collect into the brush. Now imagine taking that brush and rubbing it all over your paintwork. There's a sandpaper effect at work. What this entails is scratches and swirls on your clear coat. Over time, these add up and contributes to a dull, lackluster finish. Friends don't let friends take their cars to a friction wash. The best way to preserve and maintain that new car finish really is to regularly hand wash your car by yourself using quality products and wax it with care. But if you're hard-pressed for time, don't have a driveway, or it's freezing outside, a touch-less automatic is the next best choice. Unfortunately, a good touch-less automatic wash bay is becoming harder and harder to find. Luckily, this place has one of the few left available and they do a good job of maintaining them. read more

This car wash I thought was going to be a great deal!! I have searched for a spray do it yourself one because I have a soft top. When I was done it said $5.87. Today I looked at my card and they charged me 12.00!!!!! Of course you call and no answer!!! read more

I'm not completely dissatisfied, nor completely satisfied. The entrance is a mess and always backed up into the street. Ample bays for self-wash, when they're functional (occasionally they're not and only the automatic options are available). $5 deal for 9-min is fine. Nothing spectacular though and the soap is so sudsy it's takes awhile to rinse. If you just want to get some of the crud off your car, this place suffices. The property does have plenty of parking spaces for drying and finishing which is nice. read more

Most unreliable car wash!!!!! Just took my Audi for a wash, keep in mind that the reason I use brushless car washes not have my car scratched. This one time unfortunately my car got scratched in more than one place, I literally heard and felt the spray arm touch my car mostly every time it went around, but I was helpless to do anything. When I came out, I showed my car to the carwash attendant and he flatly said that the damage was not caused by his carwash, basically saying to my face that I was lying. I know every nook and cranny of my car and since I went straight to the carwash from my home, I am sure it happen there. I later called the carwash and left a detailed message, but no one got back to me. The damage is not enough for me to pursue this legally, so I'm stuck with it. At this point all I can do is don't use this place any longer and let every one I know what happened. read more

I went there just rinse my car to get the salt off my car. I used debit card! When I use my card I saw words on the box " ready in use will stop at minimum " ok that's what I need! 4 mins minimum! Great self service spot, we'll maintained and looked after. All the stuff works here, and it's clean!

This car wash is one of the few that I trust to thoroughly clean my car. We go here about once a month, or whenever the car is dirty enough to write "Wash Me!"on it with your finger. We always go to one of the three touchless bays on the far right. We have never had a problem using our credit card there. Pay in advance, while the car in front of you is getting washed. The machine doesn't print receipts, but if it greets you by your first name then you've done it right. There are many different options to choose from. We've tried them all. Any package with the high powered undercarriage rinse is a must in the harsh (salty) Chicago winters. The Rain X wash is strongly recommended before long road trips to keep the highway bugs from sticking to the windshield. The kids like to watch the triple foam polish get applied and rinsed off. Even if you take your time exiting during the drying phase of the car wash, you should try to pull over a few blocks away to hand dry your car. Use a few soft rags to get those errant water droplets before they turn to water spots. Don't try to do it on the car wash lot. It gets very crowded at the exit and the wind might blow a soapy mist onto your car, which would defeat the whole purpose. During rush hour, it's really hard turn left onto Dempster from here. If you need to go west, just carefully turn right going east and turn into one of the shopping plazas with a traffic light (Harlem, Shermer, Waukegan). read more

My kids have a blast when ever we stop by. This is a touchless car wash and I can appreciate that. I do wish that the automatic lanes were 24 hour or opened earlier. read more

owner is very rude and said we didn't belong there and threatened to turn off wash on us very horrible place do not go

I tried out the basic touch-less automatic car wash for $5.00. Overall the wash was ok at best. The car still had a layer of dirt that was visible on the windshield. After the wash, there are parking spots available to dry or detail your car as soon as you pull out. One thing to note, space at this car wash is very limited. For example, if you don't pull into a spot right away and you get to the end, you can't loop around again without going through one of the car wash lanes. Also as some have mentioned it is very hard to make a left on on Dempster when leaving. Overall, you may get a better deal and a better wash with the do it yourself option vs the basic automatic wash. read more

Current owners are rude and always have a damn attitude for no reason. Always spend $10 and doesn't even remove the bird crap 100%. filthy place and doesn't even wash well. Oh and vacuums are usually broken or keeps one of your quarters and don't get it back. Wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Don't waste your money there. read more

I've been using the touch-less wash for years now. Always get a decent wash. Probably have used this wash at least 100 times. Only have had one incident where the wash cut out on me. Called with my issue and it was handled right away. Great wash great service. read more

This is the best coin operated car wash in the area. They have 8 self service wash bays and two automatic wash bays. A $5 bill gets you 10 minutes which is enough time to get an average car done. Some of the wash bays take credit cards. They also have air hoses with nozzles designed to blow most of the water off of your car which is very helpful. On top of that, they usually don't mind if you use soap and a bucket as long as nobody is waiting read more

Great car wash! Pretty much the only place that has a touch-less car wash that is close to home. The 3 touch-less wash bays accepts cash (not tokens) and credit cards which is awesome! However, I'm not sure if the far left touch-less wash bay credit card reader is working, so use the MIDDLE or the RIGHT bay just to save you time from going around again. A minor con is that when leaving the car wash, you may find it more difficult to make a left. read more

I've been using this car wash for several years. What can I say . . . it's a car wash. However, every time I use my debit card I'm charged, $12.00. Regardless of whether I was charged $4.00, $5.00 or $8.00, I'm always charged $12.00 on my bank account. This is really pathetic! Seriously, are these owners that desperate to make money, even if it means cheating, or more like stealing? Plus, they get an attitude if you mention it to them. Nice way to make extra money . . . just steal it! read more

This place is a scam. The credit card machines tell you that there is a "processing error" but still charge your account for the service.
