No stars for these jerks. These a**holes sold me a scooter and talked my dumb a** into buying a 36 month extended warranty. They said it would be no problem to transfer or cancel the warranty should I want to, they even gave it to me in writing in the form of a cancellation disclaimer. The disclaimer said there was a 30% fee and a waiting period of 10-12 weeks for canceled warranties. I canceled the warranty 7 months ago and still have not received a refund despite going into the store in person an average of two to three times a week for what feels like forever now. Save your 14 bucks on the International Motorcycle Show and head here instead. As far as prices go that's up to you and your negotiating skills. Remember that everything from bikes to gear to supplies is negotiable. Best selection of new cycles in the area. Sit on every bike till you find the one that's right (unless you want a kawasaki as they do not carry them). Alex is right, this place is HUGE. I can't say i've ever seen such a selection. Loki in parts is a good contact if you are there for a non new bike purchase. As a whole I buy most of my gear online, so i reccommend going there to size things and then doing your best search online (try www.newenough.com) But as a whole if you are looking for a new or used bike, chances are they have it and you owe it to yourself to stop by and see it for yourself. read more

Why can't I not give any stars? My motorcycle is an 07, not even 2 years old yet. The salesmen lie not only about the service package, but also about financing terms. I was told my payments would be $100 a month, and that I could take as long as I wanted to pay it off. I got my first bill and it was $256. They knew I couldn't afford it and lied on my credit application, as well as me, to get the sale, and then I was stuck. Then I had the same problem with service. They made it seem like I could drop it off, kill a few hours, then come back and get it. This summer they had a 1 month waiting list to even make an appointment, then another week to fix it. Nobody ordered the parts I needed, and I specified exactly what was wrong and asked them to order them at the time, to save time once they figured out I was right. Then they said 8000 miles was normal wear on steering bearings (the manual says lube them at 15000 miles) and wouldn't cover it under warranty. I had a rattling noise coming out of my ignition and they said it didn't affect the performance of the bike and ignored it. It is very annoying and I think after spending 14000 dollars on a motorcycle I deserve to have a peaceful ride. I spoke to the service manager who seemed very concerned, but never called me back. Then I spoke to the sales manager, and the same thing, very concerned but nothing was done. I am convinced that their periodic maintenance consists of new spark plugs and turning up the idle to make you think they did every thing else. The icing on the cake was last service I had they couldn't even do that right. On my way home I hear an engine knock and couldn't figure out why. On further inspection I realized one of my spark plugs was about ready to fall out of the cylinder. They offered to come pick it up and fix it, which probably would've taken another 2 weeks so I just spent another $10 on top of the $400 something for the service and bought my own spark plug socket, which didn't work, which is probably what the mechanic used. Then I realized there was a special socket that came in the tool bag with the bike. Also I have a coolant leak now, 400 miles after the 8K service which demands that all coolant fitings be checked and tightened. Nobody here cares about you or your motorcycle because it's not their business or money. They make the same hourly wage whether you are happy or not I tried to get a hold of an owner and no luck. I'm stuck going there one more time because I bought the stupid service package, but after that NEVER AGAIN!!!! I'll find somewhere else to take my bike for the rest of it's long life. If there was only one problem, I could figure it was a mistake. However, every department of this company screws something up every time. Websters dictionary defines insanity as repeating the same action and expecting a different result. I am not insane, I expect one more terrible service, then I am done. Do yourself a favor, don't be fooled by the "biggest" motorcycle dealer in chicagoland. If a small dealership dosn't have what you are looking for they will gladly order it. read more

I worked in a motorcycle dealer before and I have to say it's imposible to make everyone happy. You have the group that hates you, likes you and loves you. I rescently visited the parts dept. And I have to say I had a good experience with the help I obtained by the sales associate' very honest and helpfull. To all these cheap people mentioning they're high prices and Internet shopping that is just ignorant!!! This is a retail store not a warehouse with a fancy website!! Chicago cycle is a one stop shopping place and you see what you get, you have to pay for that. Anyway I think this is a place that should stay around because places like this aren't easy to find. Some areas may need to be refined but the shop is fairly new and with the right people they will improve.... read more

I have bought 3 motorcycles from Chicago Cycle, going back to when they were on Western. Always had a pretty good experience. I was in last week to get some quick service on my VTX. The service team was able to get my bike in same day and wrap up in around an hour. It was just brake work, but they got my bike in very quickly. In the process, I ended up leaving my bag unattended by the service desk for 10-15 minutes. Someone who was in getting service done on their scooter, stole my bag (with a new iPad in it). Ray from service immediately started working on the issue and though nobody in management seemed to care, Ray took it personally and kept pushing to figure out who took the bag. Without help from management or Tony D, the head honcho (who never came to talk to me, never called back to service and generally was not helpful or interested), Ray tracked down the guy and talked to him. Without going into too many details, I got my bag back within an hour. Ray and the service dept staff ROCK! They all deserve a raise in my opinion. I can't say enough how much I appreciate them working to get my property back. BTW, the work they did was great. They were fast and since I had my own parts and zip off bags, they gave me a break on labor (even before my bag was stolen). Thanks RAY! read more

this is the worst place ever i will never take my bike there again they put a rear tire on it left something lose then try to say it was my fault argued till they said they will pay for it today it had been a month my bike is sitting there they have been ordering parts for it so they say for the last month and still waiting horrible service and the got some real stupid mechanics that i dont think none of them are over 18 and for sure none of then know what the hell there doing no one should ever go to chicago cycle let them go bankrupt maybe they learn how to treat people read more

chicago cycle sales people are very rude and advestise we will beat any deal but this is a lie i wanted to purchase from them a burgman scooter from them i was given a price and then i stated i can purchase the someone else way for less and the sales person stated then go buy it then, for a company that has so many bikes you would think they would what to beat the deal i found, chicago cycle calms that they are cheaper but are not i will never purchase any bikes from them , but i will go look nice inventory but very bad service and there sales people suck because of this i hope they loss there job but i know this will not happen this is what you see Nobody Beats Our Prices. right the Sales people are completely unacceptable and do not care. read more

just bought a 2008 raptor 250 from them, and i must have gone on a good day cuz when i went there a year ago no one was freindly or helpful but when i went today everybody was asking everyone who came in if they needed help or someone was helping them. the only problem i had was when we were going to make the purchase. we got the price of the atv to go down to 2,899$ which i thought was amazing +plus we have a wisconsin address so no sales tax which was also very good. BUT they have alot of unessecary fees! ex. Paperwork: 256$!!!! Prep:300$!! Destination fee: 400$!!!!!. after those fees the price came to be 4000$!!! for an atv that we wer gunna pay 2,899 for..... so we said we were goin to leave and since there was maybe 2 other people in the store besides us the salesperson went to the finance manager and was talking to him. then they both came back and the guy said he would knock of the 400$ destination fee which was great! but not the price we were looking for. eventually after some more price cutting we got to a price that was really nice for us. we just needed to fill out paper and we did and it took les than 15 minutes and we were out the door. my advice is if ur gunna buy from here be bargin with them.
