I randomly discovered this hotel while flying to Spain, and literally set up the reservation right before landing.
The wild thing about this hotel is that it's actually a chain you've probably never heard of LOL. They have locations all over the world, with several in Spain, and this being one of the main ones in Madrid.
The exterior is very unassuming, and it's easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. But the interior is beautiful! The colors are orange, red, and white. And when I say the bed is insanely soft but also firm. My room was on the 4th floor, and faced a beautiful building across the street. There are no screens in the windows, which was interesting to get used to. And the he only drawback was the shower. You either get inside and get blasted by either extremely cold or hot water, or you turn it on and run really quickly, as the door opens into the direct stream of water.
There is a small cafe/bakery connected to the hotel and you enter via the hotel lobby and then a curtained archway.
It was about $279 for 4 days, which is an insane steal!
I'll be staying at these in other locations in the future. read more
