This is where I found Pouring Events Bartending. The owner, Kevin, was so responsive to emails and phone calls. Kevin and his staff were willing to take on a High School graduation celebration. Our meal of sliders, fries, fried pickles and chicken tenders with sauces was an absolute success!!!! They also provided bartending services and this was a success for all the adults! At the end of the day it was most definitely worth having Kevin and his team catering and bartending. Our daughter graduates in 2 years and will definitely call Kevin and his staff again!!! Thanks Kevin for making his celebration a success!!

My daughter requested a fully vegan menu with a gluten free option and Kevin was so helpful & thoughtful in planning our menu! The vegan lasagna was delicious (even the non vegans agreed) as was the fettuccine Alfredo, garlic bread, bruschetta, and Caesar salad. The Gluten free fettuccine was a hit for the "gluten free girlies", and the vegan, gluten free cheesecake bites were the bomb! I highly recommend hiring Kevin & his crew! They are the best! Guenther House ended up being one of my favorite stops in San Antonio…read more Of course, the food was excellent. We had breakfast tacos, waffles, coffee, and a few other breakfast items, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coffee was especially good. What surprised me most was how much more this place is than a restaurant. The historic home, museum rooms, gift shop, bakery counter, and beautifully maintained grounds make it feel like a destination rather than just a place to grab breakfast. The atmosphere reminded me of visiting a family home that has been lovingly preserved for generations. There is so much history throughout the property, yet it still feels warm and welcoming instead of formal. I was also impressed by the gift shop. It's packed with Pioneer products, baking mixes, Texas-made goods, and unique souvenirs. The bakery case alone is worth checking out because the desserts are enormous and looked amazing. We happened to visit on a rainy morning, so there was no wait. After seeing the property and experiencing the food, I completely understand why people are willing to line up on busy days. If you're visiting San Antonio, I would recommend giving yourself extra time here. Come for breakfast, stay to explore the house, browse the gift shop, and walk the grounds. It's a place that feels uniquely Texan and unlike anywhere else I've visited.

Be prepared for a wait since seating is first-come, first-served and the restaurant gets quite busy. Fortunately, the wait didn't feel long at all because we were able to explore the surrounding historic neighborhood while waiting for our table. Once seated, there was a bit of a wait for the food ( hence 4 stars), but it was well worth it. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Our server, Martin, was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. The house coffee was a standout. It had a unique blend of spices that gave it a rich, flavorful taste unlike a regular cup of coffee. For food, we ordered the sweet waffle, and it was rich and buttery. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and equally delicious. The biscuits were soft, buttery, and flaky, while the gravy was flavorful. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Their service was phenomenal! As with all events whenever there is more than 1 person involved, there can be miscommunication/ misunderstandings, my daughter's wedding was no exception. But what was most impressive was the ease of communication to correct, adjust and move on without damage to the rapport and comradery of the relationship. The genuine joy for my daughter and my son-in-love's wedding remained intact. This is true professionalism. Another worthy note was the compassion extended when an unforeseen situation occurred. While being able to pivot, is a necessary skill to have in the event planning industry, doing so with grace and compassion is a gift that cannot be taught. To Ravin, Amanda, and your entire team for your dedication and ALL of your hard work: May God's mercy and grace relentlessly pursue you, overtake and overwhelm you, with HIS abundant love, peace and joy.
