I said hello as well which was followed by an awkward pause so I thought I may have a wrong number and asked if it was the salon. She replied "yea" and nothing else. So I continued to direct the conversation by asking if I could make an appointment. She told me that their appointments were "way far out" ...again nothing else. I asked when the next available one was and opted for the date she said. She then told me she would call me back because she was in the middle of something. No one called me back. Came back the second time and got the exact same thing and it took the stylist just about an hour. When I went to pay, they charged me for an extended blowout, an extra $39! I told her I was confused as I had been here before and this had not happened. She told me, rudely, "Well, it took over an hour and you have thick hair. I've added it to your account for future appointments." Unfortunately, there won't be another appointment. Is it based on how quickly the stylist completes a straight blowout, or the actual thickness of hair? I have pretty standard hair - not thin, but definitely not super thick! Super disappointing and hope others can be wary!
