I do make sure to communicate and set them up for success about items or communicate if I would like something done differently. This is done through Sandra and then communicated to the person helping. This really takes the awkwardness out of doing it. Things happen that is life but it is about how it is handled and Sandra and her team are like Olympians at that. We started out with an every other week cleaning. Really liked them team and moved into a 3x a week customized housekeeping service. There is a service called a la maid which is wonderful if you need more than just a basic house cleaning but less than hiring someone full time (which then you have to deal with a lot more effort to find and handle domestic staffing salary etc.) Having them come in half a day 3x a week is AMAZING! I have actual time to get done all of these projects that I have not been able to for years. Turns out I wasn't lazy or uncapable we just needed more help. With Adis and Alison helping, I can actually be properly rested, care for our family, tackle project and I have way more time too for my consulting business which is awesome. What really sets this company apart from others we have tried is that the housekeepers really care about doing a thorough job. They also are all just incredibly lovely humans. It can be weird to have someone in your house with their energy etc. but I genuinely have felt at ease with the 3 women who have helped us regularly. For the a la maid service I have created a day, visit and random one off items I need help with and share with Sandra. It has been going really well. They have helped from organizing linens in our guest closet to doing a deep clean of just one room, loading and unloading dishwasher, open and breaking down boxes, folding clothing, helping with laundry, taking everything out of a closet and cleaning them placing back in. Removing items from kitchen drawers, vacuum and wipe down the drawers then reorganize. We have had items for donation drives etc. in the house and just ask them to clean around and they do which is lovely. They just are so very sweet and kind hearted. They will roll up blankets, arrange toys and organize our dog's beds. When one of our pups had to be laid to rest recently they have been so kind and understanding about me wanting to leave her items in place. I genuinely get excited to see how they will organize, fold or do. Throughout the week I discover new ways they folded the top tissue, organized blankets, arrangement of plushies and blankets on the pup's beds. It is such a delight and joy that is brought to my week! These little details is what sets them far above and apart in my opinion. There is just a feeling and kind compassion that Sandra, Adis and Alison bring to their work and our home. I find it to sometimes be super awkward to have someone in our home and working around but that is not a feeling I have ever had with any of our regular cleaners or Sandra. Which to me says a lot about who they are and the team they have built. There was one person who was just not a fit and I politely communicated that with Sandra. That can be so awkward to do but Sandra was great it was just a really chill process for something that is a bit awkward to say. A person who was helping us left too and Sandra totally hit the nail on the head with placing the 2 ladies who help us now 3 days a week. I could not recommend them highly enough and would hire them in a heartbeat for any family that lived in the area. They bring compassion and kindness to their work.

She was incredibly patient with our dogs when one day we had to keep them home during a cleaning (our little one is terrified of everything. She basically followed Kenia around the house and barked at her the whole time - we felt terrible). I called to let her know that they had arrived and wanted to make sure they understood what I was requesting. She assured me they were fine and said they had just passed their training and were new to the company. Hmmm... I felt that they did an ok job. They did not pick things up to clean underneath them and I had to go back through the house to do so. I called Liya and explained all of this to her. We also discussed payment at this time. They were there for 2 hrs and she tried to charge me for 5 hrs (2.5 hrs for each person). I explained the time frame and she said they told her 2.5. Hmmm... They brought their own equipment and each room was left very clean and smelling great. The best way that I can describe it is when you come back to your hotel room from a long day and everything is clean and picked up. I love a clean space and seeing things rearranged in organized ways. I expected though to have the vent above my stove and the top of my fridge dusted and cleaned, but both were not and left pretty dusty. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the work! I provided a 3 star rating due to communication. Before I booked, I scheduled a walk-through with Olga to get a quote. My appointment was at 2pm and after no one showed after 20 minutes, I texted her. She requested to reschedule for an hour later which was not a problem and I got my quote. The day before my scheduled cleaning, I got a reminder text which was helpful and thoughtful. Again, I was asked to reschedule my time an hour and a half later than originally intended (10:30am instead of 9am). However, the day of my scheduled cleaning, I waited 20 minutes and no one had arrived. I texted and was told that staff were running late. They pulled up about 5 minutes after she texted me back. In both cases from a customer service standpoint, I felt that she should have communicated with me first instead of me waiting and contacting her. As a customer, it is the responsibility of the business owner to tell me if they are running late. Overall, I am satisfied with the services; my home is clean, but the communication can improve.
