Chi Bioenergetics is beyond expectation. It is more than a massage or bodywork it is an experience. The safe space he has created is comfort to your senses using aroma and sound to relax amongst other things. Brent is attentive, observant, intuitive, compassionate and straight forward. His experience is undeniable once you have begun working with him. Yes, it's more costly than most, but worth it. He has obviously invested in his own healing creating a more meaningful session. I have been able to release pain that has been with me for years and was increasing before I went. I have no doubt it would have eventually debilitated me. Listen to your intuition and book it. read more

I don't often treat myself to massages of this quality, and honestly, it's usually outside of what I'd normally spend. That said, Brent's work is truly something special and worth every penny. I've had many massages over the years, and Brent provides some of the best bodywork I've ever had. Our session was about 2 hours and beyond just his skill and understanding of massage, he weaves in other elements that make the session feel like much more like an experience than just your run of the mill massage. He incorporated cupping, aromatherapy, singing bowls, and other techniques that made it feel like i was getting a full body detail . He's calm, grounded, and doesn't force conversation. He seems very attuned whether you want to chat or simply relax and enjoy the work. I left feeling deeply relaxed, restored, and genuinely cared for. If you're looking to spoil yourself and invest in your well being, I can confidently say Brent's work is worth it. I plan on coming back for more. read more

After my first treatment with Brent, the areas of my body that had been chronically tight and painful for a decade felt eased and relaxed. I still feel great a week after the treatment. Brent didn't only address the physical issues, but also the mind-body connection that led to those issues. He recommended some books and meditations that have already proven valuable. His energy is great and his studio is very peaceful. I hope to return for another treatment soon. read more

Single-handedly the best healing massage I've ever experienced. I've worked with many massage therapists over the years, but Brent is in a completely different league. He's not just a massage therapist--his work combines massage, specialized electrical current tools, breath and meditation techniques into a practice that addresses the whole person. From the very beginning, his consultation is thorough and professional. He listens deeply and takes into account past injuries or traumas that may be contributing to current tension or pain. During the session, he creates a safe, grounded environment where both body and mind can release. What stands out most is his ability to help move blockages--physical, emotional, and yes, even energetic. The result is not just feeling better in your body, but leaving with a sense of lightness, clarity, and connection that's hard to put into words. I had several profound realizations during my session, and Brent welcomed me to share those as part of the healing process. It felt like being cared for in a way I hadn't experienced before--safe, seen, and supported. I honestly couldn't recommend Brent more highly. My only hesitation in writing this review is that more people will discover him and it might be harder for me to get an appointment. That said, I genuinely hope others get to experience what I did. You will not regret it--and you'll almost certainly be back for more. Thank you, Brent. Truly amazing. read more

Probably one of the best bodywork experiences I've ever had. From the ambience, to the attention to detail, I felt like I was in really good care. My nervous system immediately felt relaxed, and shortly after I felt like I was in an altered state. I highly recommend Chi BioEnergetic Healing. read more

Brent is an amazing healer. A fantastic massage, yes. But this is more than that, he takes time to listen, works stuck energy and gave honest suggestions towards healing. I wish I lived in the area to come more frequently. After one season I feel happy, light with tension/discomfort relieved. Even brought some well welcomed laughs to my less desirable issues like my sweaty hands :) Suggest you look for an appointment in advance, he does seem to book up, I was lucky enough to piggy back on someone's cancelation. Clean, calm space with beautiful energy. read more

I'm incredibly grateful to have participated in Brent's Bio Energetic Healing workshop. Both the content he shared and the way he connected the dots between concept and reality made everything easy to relate to and understand. Its inspiring nature has already influenced how I approach learning and how I lead in both my personal and professional projects. Brent is a visionary who takes the time to teach so that others can learn, grow, and feel empowered by his wisdom. Thank you Brent! read more

I learned an immense amount in Brents workshop. I left with a wealth of knowledge and 'upgrades' to my meditation practices.

Brent is truly gifted in what he does, a gift of healing body and beyond. I was not referred to him, never met him, nor had ever taken a chance on a random search for body work- energy healing, but Brent appeared first and I felt compelled to see if he would work with me. Considering the pain of longevity of my conduction, shoulder impingement along with numbness into finger, I was skeptical he would listen and be truly able to work with me to finally release the blocks. After walking in the door, looking him in the eyes and seeing how deeply serious he takes his work, I knew Brent was going to help me heal. What he is capable of doing, as a healer of physical body and energetic self, is truly a gift or divine calling. I'm honored to work with him on my journey back to health! read more

Five stars isn't enough to convey the incredible experience and deep knowledge Brent offers his clients through his massage journey. His space is warm and inviting, nestled right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. His technique is unlike anything I've yet to experience and was a mix of relaxation, healing, enlightenment, and transformation. Whether you live in Santa Barbara or are traveling from out of town, run don't walk to Chi Massage Therapy. My time with Brent was the cherry on top to an amazing experience in Santa Barbara and I am counting down the days until my next visit. read more

Brent is highly skilled, intuitive and kind. He listened carefully to what I was experiencing in my body and offered options for how to address it. He used different modalities depending on which was best suited for the problem. he was very communicative throughout the process and was one of the best treatments I've experienced. Brent is an AMAZING bodyworker!!! He has such a warm, kind loving presence. He puts incredible amounts love of and care into each session so that every single moment from the beginning to the end is thoughtful, intentional and uplifting. We were laughing in our last session because he asked me to let him know if there was anything he did that was a favorite for me, and anything that was a least favorite. The whole session sounded like "Thats a favorite! ....Oh and that one too!... And that one also! Favorite, favorite, favorite!" In the end, there were no least favorites! I love and respect when anyone puts the time and love into becoming the best they can be at their craft, and that definitely describes Brent! He is a total treasure! read more

Brent isn't just a massage therapist, he's an amazing, intuitive healer! He has the ability to read your energy and intuit what your body needs in the moment. He uses a varied tool kit, including different massage techniques and modalities like cupping, sound bath and aromatherapy, which he combines to provide a unique approach for each client. But perhaps what I most appreciate about Brent is that he takes to the time to dialogue with you before and after each massage. He actively listens, takes notes and addresses each of your desires and concerns. He gives every client a customized experience, a sacred space where one feels both heard and cared for, a true blessing. Thank you, Brent! read more

If you're looking to experience a massage that goes beyond a relaxation session, Brent is your man! He has a unique approach to his craft and is good at what he does--always learning and finding ways to improve his skill set. Don't you hate it when you have someone you ALWAYS go to and then you move and have to start all over? Yup. Me. I'm that person. I was looking for a therapist who was knowledgeable, cares about what they are doing, LISTENS, and then works on the problems. If this is the kind of service you like - then search no more! Brent is amazing. Not only does he talk with you beforehand (instead of filling out useless paperwork that they never refer to) he takes notes and uses it while he works. He makes sure to note things before and after, and then the next time you come in he asks if anything has changed or what you would like to focus on. I have a hard time finding someone who will give me a true DEEP tissue. Pressing hard doesn't constitute a deep tissue. Usually my inside voice is saying "this is a deep tissue massage?" Not with Brent! He makes you laugh, cry, swear and want to slap your mama or anyone's mama! Brent isn't afraid to get in there and really work on something until it loosens up. Ahhhhhh yeahhhhh.... it was the first time in months, nay, years my quads actually felt loose. He asks about the pressure and if I needs more work on certain areas. He has a crazy repertoire of items in his arsenal. Aroma therapy, cupping, sound therapy, vibration therapy and probably more that I don't even know about! AND he is reasonably priced for what he offers. Man, if you want to hit the Feng Shui jackpot look no further! My Feng has been Shui'd! read more

Excellent total body care for injuries and overall well-being. I've tried many massage therapists in Santa Barbara and Brent Kee is one of the very best. He truly becomes your partner in body care. read more

I was looking for a massage therapist who could help me with some specific injury-related issues that had been causing muscle tension and pain for a long time. I went to several massage therapists in town before Brent and I didn't feel any significant, lasting changes. Fortunately, a friend recommended Brent. I figured I'd give him a try. During the first session I could feel the problematic muscles release in a way that I hadn't experienced before. He used techniques that I hadn't seen before, and they were effective. Afterwards I could clearly feel a shift in my physiology. I walked away from the session with less pain and imbalances. Obviously, I wasn't "healed" of all my problems, but the session was a big step in the right direction towards addressing the underlying issues causing my tension and pain. Brent is personable, easy to talk to, and responds well to feedback. The massage room and table have always been clean, warm, and comfortable. I've found the massage therapist I was looking for. read more

I went to get a gentle relaxing message and felt like I was beaten to a pulp. Not sure why. I was very clear about what I wanted.

I've been on the hunt for a knowledgeable massage therapist since mine moved away 3 years ago. I've been to many places the past three years and after my three year search was referred to Brent . I liked the thorough and knowledgeable consultation plus professionalism . The overall experience plus setting and attention to detail with essential oils , different oils and rubs and the music and sounds. All of that plus a really good massage . To me a good massage therapist listens to where I said it hurts but then they are able to trace the source and orgin of where it comes from. I am very happy to have dooms Brent and highly recommend him. read more

This massage was one of the best I've had. Being able to text to make an appointment was helpful, and all of my knots were so relaxed afterward - it felt like I had a new back. Without needing to explain anything, all of my knots and tight muscles were given lots of attention - it felt almost like 30% Swedish and 70% deep tissue. I would highly recommend you check out Chi Massage Therapy if you get the chance. New customers get a little discount, and you will feel so much looser afterward. I feel like a new person! read more
