Not sure about the atmosphere that they're advertising. We thought about it seriously for a few minutes and decided to give it a try anyway. We had to show our IDs at the door, which is fine and responsible. However, we also had to empty our pockets, get wanded with a hand-held metal detector AND I had my purse searched. Not a welcoming place. Still. We kept on trying! We got drinks, which were tasty and reasonably priced. The place is full of smoke and reeks of cigarettes. Not my style, but, it's a bar, so I can forgive. There was a sign on the wall advertising new kitchen hours for the summer: 8PM was the closing time, so we had already missed it. But there was another sign saying the kitchen closed at 7, so we asked. The barkeep said the kitchen closes at 6? Things aren't straight. They had a couple pool tables, an electronic dart board, and a small dance floor with black lights on. ... Not the chill hangout we were hoping for. It's not a sports bar. There were a number of TVs, all of which displayed a generic DishTV logo. No sports showing anywhere on a Saturday night. No food. Uncomfortable atmosphere. We drank one drink and left.
