I love this store & the owners. They are absolutely the nicest people. Every purchasing experience in this store has been a favorable one. The owners were even nice enough to offer suggestions for great restaurants & tours in Newport. I really like their chic styles of clothing. They seem to have some thing for every age group. I have also ordered clothing from them on the phone, which they quickly packaged and mailed to me. I think most people would really like this store. read more

Came into the store earlier today because a lobster crewneck caught my eye. The woman (presumably the owner) was preoccupied yelling at a woman and her family regarding a pair of sandals she was attempting to return a year after the return period lapsed. While the shoes were clearly worn (as the soles were scuffed and dirty) the owner became irate. When I approached the counter, crewneck in hand, she sharply asked me what I wanted. Then proceeded to yell that she had already told my grandmother she can't help. Confused, I informed her I did not know the people attempting to return the shoes. She apologized for the confusion and began checking me out. The woman with the worn shoes and the owner continued to argue with each other. When the customer asked the owner her name she replied, "none of your goddamn business, what's yours?" She threatened to call the cops multiple times on the customers. She kept walking away from the cash register where my friend and I were awkwardly waiting, telling me she thought they were going to steal. While the customer and her family began to exit the owner exclaimed, "f*ck you!" While the owner's anger was not directed at me, the interaction made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. read more

If i could give this store zero stars I would. The woman working was the most miserable woman and completely rude to my friend and I. My friend was taking a photo of a cute sweater and this woman screamed at my friend "what do you think you're doing" like she was a child. There was no viewable sign saying photos weren't allowed and she could have easily said please no photos, but she was immediately on offense. Mind you it was a blue sweater with a lobster printed onto it. Not exactly a unique design. My friend was so embarrassed over a sweater i could find on amazon. I absolutley love this little shop! I was here in the summer of 2022 and found several staple clothing items I've worn all year! I came back in the summer of 2023 with cute sandals that had broke a few months ago. The owner was so accommodating despite the fact I brought them back way after the return/refund policy. She offered to replace the shoes or give me a store credit. I was thrilled to walk away with a replacement pair of shoes. I highly recommend this store! read more

The man that works here (I believe he is the owner) is absolutely NASTY. he is disrespectful, downgrades people, and talks to you as if he regards you significantly less than he is. You would think owning a retail shop you would be all about customer service and wanting people to come in and purchase from you. My friend and I went in, both with simple asks and he was talking on the phone, wouldn't give us a straight answer and even got so pissed he walked out of his own store accusing us of "business interruption." I just left this shop about an hour or so ago. I walked in with my mom and 2 middle aged aunts and the woman was on the phone talking trash about some woman and her daughter. She did say if we needed anything we could let her know, but then continued to talk on the phone. I immediately went to some purses I saw which had the Michael Kors logo, and began looking closer. I saw many imperfections and was questioning the authenticity. On the inside there were stains on the fabric so I thought maybe it was a second hand MK. My mother and I both were carrying MK purses so I began comparing. It was when I found one of the purses with a "Made in China" tag on the inside that I brought it over to the women I was with and showed them. We just laughed it off and looked a little longer, then two of my aunts left. I said I wanted to look at one more dress. The woman followed me and told me she needed to put something away. When I went around a rack to look at the dress she physically moved the rack out from behind me so I was 'exposed'. It was bizarre, and I went to leave with my mom when the woman stopped me and began questioning me. I had no idea what she was talking about, but turns out she was trying.to accuse me of stealing one of the purses. When I told her I was actually showing the other women the Made in China tag, she became irate, loudly proclaiming "so what if I display where my products came from?!?". It was then my mother spoke up and said she was selling knock off products. She continued on her tyrade saying "so what if it's not teal, you really want to pay more for a purse?!?". My mother and I weren't even responding as she was going off. We stood there. Then she went on to ask why we were so offended she was questioning me about the purse i was looking at (as if we were trying to hide the fact we were stealing something). At this point I laughed and my mother and I just walked away. The lady sarcastically yelled behind us, "HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!!". It was so bizarre. I stepped out and said "Do not go I'm there, that lady is out of control". Come to find out she was also following my two aunts around the store as if they were also trying to steal things. Do not go there. She is selling fake products, bad-mouthing people over the phone, and accusing and yelling at her customers. Truly awful experience. read more

worst store ever never go the LADY is so RUDE she's messed up and treats every costumer like TRASH I went into the store and the lady told me a sweatshirt repeatedly was $29.95 than when I cashed out told me it was &29.95 when I paid but than I got my receipt via email and it said she charged me $50 on my credit card she also put the sweatshirt on a table with a sale sign saying it was that i went back to store and told her picked up her won sale sign and showed her she refused to give me my money back and said it isn't that she is terrible screamed at me and was so rude honestly a descendant from satan. she doesn't even have a cash register like she uses the thing that attaches to your phone to swipe a card and she doesn't even give the right total. she puts sweatshirts that are not on sale on the sale rack. she's not a good business woman and it really annoys me. awful service and she is so disrespectful. she's a liar.
