Service was really good, location and parking easy. Food is average. Portion is okay. The pasta…read moresauce is too watery. It'll be better if it's more creamy. The pasta is slightly over cooked, too soft, I like it harder. The salad is good the seafood cream is also good with cheese on top. Love this dish. However the mash potato doesn't taste good at all....... The creme brûlée is fine. Overall I'll give it 3/5, I would say it's overpriced, around $50 per person if you don't order any beverage

Location: In the heart of Tadoussac. Street parking is available but check the signage because in…read moresome areas, it's for a limited time (i.e. 30 minutes). Additionally, much of the parking is paid (meters or lots) but there are a few free parking lots in the area. The place: I didn't go inside as we chose to dine on the terrace. A word to the wise - these guys haven't installed heated lamps (why, I have no idea) so if you're planning to eat outside, wear/bring something warm because when we were there, it was freezing! The goods: My friend ordered the seafood casserole, which was actually a Coquille St. Jacques. I ordered pasta with shrimp, lobster and crab. We both liked our meals but weren't blown away by them. My pasta was nice but it was a little lacking in flavour. That said, there was ample seafood. Service: Our waitress was friendly. One comment that I do have is related to the other waitress - she was wearing a mask well below her nose and around her chin. Sorry, but this is unacceptable during a pandemic and the manager/owner should be making sure that doesn't happen. Price point: A little steep for what you get but most restaurants in the area are catering to tourists so it's to be expected.

Le Pere Coquart Cafe - An elegant presentation of a classic. Very tasty; not nearly as sweet as most other pudding au chomeurs; pleasant mouthfeel.

Its Maritime-y vibe stays true to its port-side location. The menu consists mostly of a variety of pub starters, homemade pizzas, and sandwhiches. The drink menu varies between local brews, a small wine selection, and some interesting cocktails that I regret not trying. My friends and I shared a plate of nachos, an amazing way to start any pub meal. I do not remember exactly what was on them because I was not paying attention, which means they were good enough to distract me from analyzing their secrets. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich, served in a crusty italian bun and dressed with a wasabi based dressing. This sandwich is responsible for changing the way I think about smoked salmon as an ingredient. The same can be said for wasabi. This sandwich was fresh and tasty the whole way through. The sauce was tasty and offered a mild burning sensation that begins at the pallet and exits the nose - a noteable trait of wasabi. My friends both ordered the Jack Daniels chicken pizza and both enjoyed it very much. Based off the bite I took, the toppings complimented each other well. The sauce added a level of smokiness, over the smokiness of the wood oven, that I enjoyed. Great pub if you are visiting Tadoussac. They are stocked with some tabletop games to keep busy with while it rains. The staff is great. Food is fantastic. I will forever remember Tadoussac as the place I ate a kickass smoked salmon sandwhich, and saw a whale!

Great music, both live and the stereo music when the band wasn't playing. The pizza is great...I…read morerecommend the signature Pere Coquart. The service of asostlt great. I went here twice, once for espresso and it took longer to pay for it than get the coffee, and the place was empty. That's why I rated it down 1 star.
