Pudding au chomeur. With berries. AMAZING. Everyone around us ordered one after we did.

Delicious dinner. We got here at 530 on a warm October night. When we left at 7, there were at least 10 people waiting outside. The service was fair, but the food made up for it. Artic Char, salad with goat cheese, pecans and squash. The dessert....pudding au chomeur .... Amazing. Warm with berries. Order it.

Camarine herbal tea had a juicy berry taste. Croque Matin was very good. The mustard was great & the ham & cheese were very good. The home fries were pretty good at the start; they were light but that meant they degraded fast. Baguette with shrimp was good. It was light and tasty and the pickle was great. The baguette was a bit soft though. The fries were good too.

This place is highly rated so we came here early to avoid line up. We arrived 5:45am and got in at 6:30. We sat down and waited 15min, still no one to take our order so we raise our hand and asked if we can place the order. The lady was saying she's not our server so she can't help. Very disappointing. We ended up getting our food at around 7:15. Food was okay, the appearance is very nice looking and I like the baked leaves, very crispy. The pork with Parmesan slices is also good. However I would say it's overprice. $31 for the osso bucco with orzo. The potato is not cooked. Taste is fine but portion too small. Not very good service and potato is not cooked well. I'd rate it 3/5 if potato is cooked.

This place is amazing. Great staff and great food. Prices are fair and the quality is there. Highly recommend when you visit Tadoussac, either for breakfast, lunch or supper!

Grand Nord (gin and tonic infused with balsam fir)

Nice atmosphere. Ordered the vegan Coconut Curry to share with my partner and we both enjoyed it. Tasty and fresh. I liked the mix of edamame and chick peas with the greens and white/wild rice. During Covid they have draped plastic barriers between tables inside, and an outdoor patio as well. The online menu is in English as well as French. To drink I had the Grand Nord, a gin and tonic infused with balsam fir, and I thought it was delicious.

Fish n chips.

Kamouraska has become a routine stop for us when we travel from the East Coast to Central Canada…read more This beautiful little village has much to offer when getting out of the car at the end of a day on the road. This restaurant is one of those great offerings. Situated on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River it provided a marvellous location for a lovely meal highlighted by the setting sun. Not being proficient in French it is sometimes a worry about getting the most out of a night out in Quebec. The service at Côté Est was perfect in both languages. We enjoyed the explanation of all of the local delicacies from local gin to seal burgers to guinea fowl to the final absinthe. If you are looking for a place to get off the highway and get back in touch with the real joys of travel, plan an evening at the Côté Est.

And four ordered item and a drink is totaled 170$, tax and tips included. Considered it so pricey given the food is not too spectacular. The oyster being eastern oyster is too small, and the idea to smoke it with guinea fowl oil masked all the original oyster flavor. The jambalaya was not very flavorful as well and the mussels not very tasty and the texture most a too mushy. The guinea fowl is a good one, the texture is soft and smooth. Not overly oiled. And the fowl flavor is strong. Yet, 28$ for only one piece is just too pricey.
