I had the pleasure of staying there 4 days, and I was really happy with my stay/ food. The toilet/ shower area is all new and kept clean daily, and the sleeping areas have more then enough room to put your large suitcases (if you're like me who backpacks with large suitcases). Each bed has a curtain that is dark enough that even with the room lights on you will NOT be disturbed if you decide to sleep in. If you are staying at the hostel, the cafe has some good deals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I tried a few dishes at the Cafe and I was impressed with all of it. If you are traveling through France, I highly recommend that you stay at this place. ENJOY!

We picked the La Normande crepe with vanilla ice cream, fried apples and salted butter caramel. We added the Calva flambé. Everything arrived and then the sweet apple crepe was flambeed with a very large portion of Calva!!! The salad was very simple and tasty. The La Flamande was a bit different with the sautéed endive which neither of had ever had. It gave an interesting twist to the crepe. The La Normande was one of my favorites. I visited this small restaurant this week with family and decided to order salmon for myself and veal for my two-year old... I shared with him and cannot tell you which of the two dishes I liked better... they were both soooo nice! The salmon came with a cauliflower sauce and a variety of fresh and very tasty vegetables. The veal had a wonderful sauce with purée and vegetables. It's not that we hadn't eaten well for a while... on the contrary... but for all of us this was our highlight of the past week food wise... Enjoy! I'll be glad to eat there again if in the area.
