They offer a relatively extensive list of galettes, from the regular egg, cheese and ham filled ones, to the more inventive ones such as the indian or danish galettes, or one filled with foie gras and duck, or the one I chose, the ch'ti, with regional ingredients such as the deliciously pungent maroilles cheese, endives, and ham. Although I wouldn't necessarily call it a buckwheat galette (it looked like a regular crepe made with brown flour, and didn't have the texture that galettes usually have), the flavors were wonderful. There was a nice balance of sweet, salty, and bitter from the cheese and ham, and the caramelized endive. There was something about the flavor combination that was reminiscent of chocolate, at least to me. Sounds wierd, but I really enjoyed it. They also have some dessert crepes, such as one with salted butter caramel (my favorite!), and a short list of wines and cider to go with your meal. Service is quick and extremely friendly. The gentleman who served me was very nice and almost sang his words when he spoke to me. We were quite entertained by the one gentleman server who was quite animated and pleasant as he tended to us as well as two nearby tables of locals (so much so that my wife continues to refer to him as "Mr. Charisma"). We encountered two additional employees, a lady and a gentleman, both of whom continued the graciousness and pleasant approach to service. They made every effort to accommodate us in English, and answered our questions about some of the magnificent buildings nearby and helped us understand some French phraseology.
