Once you placed your order, they serve you traditional Moroccan Maghrebi mint tea. I liked how they put on a lil show when pouring tea, and it was delicious and warm on a cold winter day! We opted for Plat du jour (the plate of the day) & msamen nature to share, I enjoyed the couscous which was not soggy but nutty and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with the stew. Would recommend order their msamen nature, the texture was really good. The only con would be the meats, maybe we didn't order the right kind, they were a lil dry and tough. One of the better Moroccan food experiences I have had. A great option to try out in this market!

The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, our waiter was very friendly and professional. We started with vegetable Briouats, small crisp triangles, yummy. The couscous was the star of the evening, one of the best I've ever had (the Prince for my husband, merguez for me). The portions were very generous and we were wondering if we should have shared one. Still, I couldn't resist the Pastilla for dessert, light layers of phillo, amazing. Next time I come back to Paris, I'll know where to go for a great couscous!

He was the only server and there were several tables full and everything ran so smoothly! I'm impressed with his skills! We ordered a sampler plate to start and it had sausages, lamb, olives, eggplant, pimentos, and a cucumber relish. It was great, but in the future I probably would not order this, because the entree portions are huge. For our meal, we ordered couscous with lamb shank and lamb with exotic fruits. Both of these dishes were to die for! I want to go back already! The exotic fruits were: apricots, prune and figs. The decor was so beautiful, I felt like I was in Morocco! Please do yourself a favor and try out this lovely, fresh and authentic restaurant.

Most importantly, if you are craving traditional lebanese food this won't hit the spot. I got the hummus, which was very silky but lacked flavor. The fattoush which was awesome, probably my favorite. For the main we got the mixed grilled plate: chicken was nice and juicy, kebabs were flavorful but a bit dry. The star was the garlic sauce. So overall decent food, but extremely overpriced. They have these "combo" platters that serve your Lebanese favorites. For a nice breakaway from the chaos of Gallerie shopping, this uber modern chic restaurant was a haven for us. I would avoid the annoying, noisy and dirty Gallerie Lafayette cafeteria on the 6th floor and head over to Liza. Which reminds me I need to review the cafeteria.
