We always come play miniature golf with our youth group. The course is well maintained and very interesting to see different places in Wyoming displayed on the course such as Devils tower. You cant beat the price of great entertainment for the whole family. Great place to come watch hockey inside the facility. They even have laser tag, Many choices to choose from when coming to this facility, You can even have your birthday here if you so desire.

Terrible Experience - Never Again !!!…read more If I could give zero stars or no stars I would! We had the worst experience hosting a birthday party at Roller City -- by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful treatment we've ever received at any event venue. We rented the entire venue for a private party and arrived early to set up, only to be rudely told by an older man that we could not enter until exactly 10 minutes before our scheduled time. He claimed there was a class in session -- which was on the rink -- while the designated party area was completely empty. It was just me and my husband, and we would not have disrupted anything. Instead of speaking to us respectfully, he was short, condescending, and outright rude. But it got worse. Thirty minutes before our scheduled end time, that same man was aggressively in my husband's face, screaming at him to pack up and leave -- in front of our guests. We were shocked. We had paid for a full two-hour rental, followed all the rules, and even cleaned the area ourselves 30 minutes before the time we had to leave. The treatment we received was completely unacceptable and humiliating. Even our guests felt that the situation should have been handled a different way. To pay full price and be treated this way is outrageous. I can't believe people run a business like this. We will never return to this place, and we strongly encourage others to look elsewhere. Lesson learned -- avoid Roller City if you want a respectful, enjoyable experience.

For the past 10+ years my husband and I have made a goal to skate in each state at least one time. It was my birthday, and I was on a road trip and just settled into my hotel for the night. When I soon realized there is a skate rink open nearby. I attend the adult skate night. The floor was topped with a blue cover. Not my favorite but it still was a blast.

There are several things working against this ice rink…read more.. 1. It is in direct sunlight all day so it is quite often closed as the ice has largely melted. Even when open, there are cones on portions of the ice that are not safe to skate on. 2. You can only register to skate via a webpage/app...you cannot walk up and pay to skate. This is inconvenient if you're out in Erie without your phone and were hoping to skate. Even with your phone, the registration process away from a computer is tedious. 3. There doesn't appear to be a cap on the number of registrations taken for any day. This leads to the rink typically being very crowded and honestly dangerous. If they would implement registrations by time slot and then limit the number of registration per slot, this could easily be avoided. 4. There is no supervision of the rink itself. There is a small hut manned by a one person who checks reservations and hands out skates but nobody watching the rink itself. We've been unfortunate to have to deal with large groups of unsupervisord children and pre-teens that were dropped off and left to go wild. 5. There are no refunds issued for any reason. We've been unable to make use of a paid reservation due to the rink being closed because of the weather. We've been unable to make use of a paid reservation when a group decided to have their birthday party there and there was no room left for anyone else to skate.

Walking up to the little building you can tell it is a labor of love and it shows. The flowers are beautiful, and the place is tidy and well kept. The staff (I think the family that owns it) greet you with a smile and make sure you have everything that you need. Granted, the course is simple, (it was designed in the 50's) but you get to ring a bell and everyone cheers when you get a hole-in-one. You get a commemorative bumper sticker as a trophy! There is a chance to spin "The Prize Wheel" on the 19th hole. They still have one of the original obstacles (A little windmill, still working) and one of those penny grocery store mechanical horses that kids can ride for free! In an age when people require fire spitting robot pirates and exploding dragons to be entertained, it's nice to remember what it was like to go to a small amusement, run with pride, and enjoy a simple, outdoor activity, and company of people that you love.

Now, you may be wondering why I gave it three stars if I'm giving it such hype. Well, the real reason is just wear and tear of equipment. The course has a ton of potential but needs to be updated to stay relevant! The people were friendly, it was cheap, and it'll give you a use for that time to kill! However, if you're looking for a more modern experience, check out the one at the Ice and Events Center!
