Andrew Goldenberg is a top tier dentist in our wonderful Thousand Oaks/Conejo Valley…read more I as well as my hubby, both parents, sister, brother in law, niece and nephew ALL go to Goldenberg. He is trusted, Caring, gently and kind. Most importantly he is so amazing with kids or complicated painful procedures for adults. We are so thankful for him and his team and can't say enough how much i recommend them for any tooth related issues. Big or small. The office staff is the friendliest ladies and they are always SO incredibly warm and welcoming. Thank you for making our dental experiences a lot better this year after the accident. We are thankful for you all and can't explain how much we appreciate your attention to detail and care.

Let's be honest: most people would rather do their own taxes than sit in a dentist's chair. But…read moresomehow, Dr. Goldenberg and his crew have turned a dental visit into the highlight of my week. Even though my last name isn't Goldenberg, they treat me like family from the second I walk in. The front desk staff greets me with so much love I keep expecting them to hand me a plate of leftovers or ask why I haven't called my mother lately. The entire dental staff is phenomenal, and Dr. Goldenberg himself is a total pro. His dental work is flawless, and his bedside manner is so awesome it actually makes me forget there are sharp tools near my face. Beyond being a great guy, he uses top-of-the-line, "straight out of the future" technology. Seeing him embrace the newest tools is incredibly reassuring; it shows me he is still evolving in his profession rather than taking the easy route and turning into a dental dinosaur who is too lazy to learn something new. He's clearly putting in the effort to stay at the top of his game for the benefit of his patients. I truly feel like he cares about my health (and my sanity) more than most people I actually share DNA with. A few things to know: * The Price is Right: They are honest and transparent about costs, and their pricing is incredibly fair. I leave with my wallet and my dignity intact. * Care Factor: You aren't just another chart here; you're a valued guest. * The Vibe: It's so welcoming that I've genuinely considered stopping by just to hang out. * High-Tech Care: He's got the latest tech, which makes everything faster, easier, and reassures me that he's staying up on his game. My only complaint? I can't use Dr. Goldenberg for everything else in my life. If he could also change my oil, fix my Wi-Fi, and give me life advice, I'd never have to go anywhere else. If you want a dentist with a heart of gold (and a name to match), this is the spot!

I have been going to Thousand Oaks Dental for many years and have always gotten wonderful care (…read moreDeanne the hygienist is phenomenal!). Not too long ago Dr. Luthra joined the practice when Dr. Jan Beierle retired. Today I had to have a filling replaced and I am so happy with Dr. Luthra. I was really nervous going in because I hate getting Novacaine and usually find that for whatever reason I stay numbed for a crazy long time after getting a filling. Dr. Luthra was great. He not only put up with my nervous bullshit but numbed the tooth directly and here I am an hour later feeling perfectly normal with no residual numbing. Really nice guy and obviously quite skilled. Definitely recommend.

When I learned that the Drs. Beierle were retiring, I wondered how things might change. It has been my happy experience to see that the practice continues to grow in heart and care - the physical space and each person who works there have created such an inviting atmosphere that I believe it only attracts professionals who the same desire for excellent, compassionate care. Over the last three years, I made a decision with counseling and support from this office to try to correct bite deficiencies with braces so that I can repair and preserve my teeth and smile unashamedly again. It was a tough enough decision on its own, but made tougher by its beginning just about a month before the whole country closed down due to the Covid pandemic. Over this time, I have had numerous calls from the office saying, Dr. Vik or Dr. Joe would like to see me to check on my progress. There has never been a charge for those calls and visits, and recently Dr. Vik arranged his schedule so that he could attend my orthodontic appointment at a different practice so that he could ask questions, offer his observations and to help him prepare for the work I want him to do after my braces are removed. This is extraordinary care! I told my long-serving Dental Hygienist, Deanne recently how much I appreciate that she and the doctors are always observing, always encouraging, and always advocating for their patients. It makes such a difference. Deanne has become a good and trusted friend. At the risk of sounding crazy, I LOVE going to (this) dental office!! I absolutely love this practice and the people who serve us there! I recommend this practice without any reservation!

On my last visit I had a full set of x-rays and it was determined by Dr. Kacker that I needed 3 crowns replaced. I got the estimated cost which is a BIG number, I do have insurance so I asked the front office to submit to my insurance company to see what they would cover. I was asked if I wanted to make an appt. I responded with, I need to know what I'll need to come up with and I was in no discomfort. I received a letter from my insurance company asking for more info. I contacted the front office sent a copy of what was needed to the office and was told that they would handle it. A few weeks went by and nothing from my insurance company. So I called the office again and end result is the DDS office did not forward the additional info. I started to think that I should get a second opinion, again no discomfort. After my visit with a new dentist finding ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with my crowns in fact commenting that my teeth are in good shape! I'm totally disillusioned with this situation. I come from a generation where you trust these professionals, well no more. get a second opinion with this practice.. I'm 6K richer today and don't have to go through dental procedures which weren't necessary! I WILL NOT BE SETTING FOOT IN THIS DDS OFFICE EVER AGAIN.
