I also asked if I could have the receipt for tax purposes and she set it on the counter bypassing my outstretched hand as if that offended her too. There was no greeting, no "have a nice day", no any acknowledgement, my whole transaction seemed like a bother to her since she was eating and on her phone and it must have been rude of me to interrupt. Road warrior travel center is located just off of Highway 97, on lateral a road, and is indeed a drive-through convenience/travel center! these sorts of places were particularly awesome when Covid restrictions were in place, but remain phenomenal. When you just completed a kiddo basketball game, everybody is thirsty, but you really don't want to have everybody get out of the car to run inside. It's effectively a warehouse with a garage door that you drive into, one of the workers grabs any and everything your little heart desires, and then they ring you up. It takes about a quarter of the time as going into a convenience store, especially with family, and the folks working there are super nice! We don't get down this direction all that often, but I can guarantee that each time we do, this place is going to be on the list of spots to stop. It's fast, convenient, and just plain awesome!
