In general, gas stations are not something that people are looking towards for culinary excellence, however, gems wait to be discovered, and this is one of them! This very non-assuming mini mart is located along Nob Hill and 10th Ave. It looks like the sort of place where you would just stop for beef jerky and energy drinks. While they have plenty of both, they also have a couple aces up their sleeve. First off, there's a small restaurant in here that serves pupusa's. If you're not familiar with them, imagine that a quesadilla, a burrito and a tamale had a delicious love child. The folks from El Salvador conceived said child, and do it up right. This is the second such a place in the valley, and is the sort of spot you should definitely be checking out. The primary reason that I write however is regarding the Indian food that is available here. The couple who run the place or a lovely Indian couple and the wife is basically cooking you homestyle Indian food when you order it. I came in for the pupusa's, and when it was not available, I grabbed some lamb curry and garlic naan for a quick lunch. This turned out to be, without a doubt, one of the top one or two dishes that I have ever tried. It tasted exactly how you would expect when you affectively have somebody's mom making it for you. The spices were perfect, she made it right after we asked, and it instantly became a chew longer food. The naan was crispy and chewy at the same time. The flavor was perfect, and we found ourselves just smelling the foil for quite some time after we finished. I think I may try to make it into my cars air freshener! For what ended up being one of the most epic Indian dishes I've ever had, it was something like $14. You better believe that we're going to be back to this place frequently and to make sure we've tried everything! It's also fun that you can grab a drink from the cooler while you're waiting! This is a can't miss spot in the area and somewhere you need to try! It officially puts gas station Indian food as a food group to be sought out- Bravo!

Ok literally stumbled upon the fact that there is also authentic INDIAN food here! I had been to Rockymart once for the authentic pupusas, Which is a separate business within the mart, run by a young Salvadoran couple with two adorable kids. Their little boy is so funny and smart, The first time I came here I had paid his dad for the pupusas and the little kid hadn't seen that I had paid. So as I left and he hollered after me 'hey wait you gotta pay man! He was so cute doing 'his job' and looking out for his parents' business. I highly recommend the pupusa's here they are very authentic and very good and not expensive. Buuuut Their side was closed today, So the woman working behind the counter apparently owns the market, and told me about their Indian food. Well that's what I got and it was so damn good! I am posting a picture of the menu and my order. It was freshly prepared and I live out on the west side it was still piping hot when I got home! Do you self a favor and go to this place, it is amazing, and not expensive, and a definite alternative to Taj Palace... so yeah, perfect to bring home for the family. At this time, this could be my favorite food in the city. I had the butter chicken! (very tender, very tasty)and the Aloo Gobi (potato/cauliflower/peas) was so good! You should be able to tell from looking at my picture how fresh and authentic this food is! So yeah highly recommend.

Butter chicken & Aloo Gobi. The chicken was very tender and nicely spiced. I would order this again :)

I stopped here because of another Yelper review that I follow. He reviewed this place about 11 months ago. I planned on visiting this place sooner. I now wished I did. I traditionally don't buy food from c-stores/gas stations. Because you never know how fresh the food is. At this location you can get Mexican from the food truck in the lot. Or you can get the normal hot case food. Burgers, corn dogs, burritos, etc. In my opinion the real gem is the East Indian cuisine. It is a limited menu about 8 items. Its not precooked and its delicious. The two of us are not big eaters so was able to feed both of us for under $18.00. The lady behind the counter is really nice..

The man said they've been there for a while. They were pretty gross, not crispy at all, and then my friend bought a hotdog which was cold as well now we picked from the front because we saw the ones in the back weren't as dark so we thought we were doing good but negative the guy at the counter was kind of snippy. My friend ordered some lotto tickets and he pressed the wrong button and she told him no that's not the one and he told her it's too late. I already printed it. You have to buy it so she was forced to buy this five dollar lotto ticket. She was like OK whatever I'm not gonna argue with you. I'll just buy it fine even though it wasn't her fault and then she got her two other lotto tickets that she asked for he was not friendly. He didn't smile he wasn't approachable so yeah, I'm gonna say no.

I overheard her discussing with another customer how she doesn't like the Doordash as it keeps her from helping in store customers. Please know that the customers ordering deliveries are as much part of your business as those shopping in person. I give this store 4 stars for being open 24 hours and the convenience but because of below average customer service, I don't think they deserve 5 stars.

People around these parts are so Happy with their daily lives. Makes Los Angeles look depressing. So I stumbled up this truck stop with an attached convenience store with a restaurant sign on it. Couldn't find any yelp info, checked Google reviews, thought I drop in just to find out. Service-- A+, server is AAA and takes her work serious, goes to each table, follows up, made excellent recommendations, true small town hospitality Food: no complaints, my server Stepahnie recommended the Philly chopped steak, it was better than Charlies Cheesteaks. Onion rings were intact, good amount of texture, crispiness, and the breading didn't fall off left and right. Value: No complaints, for the price to portion ratio, it's no wonder you have so many locals, blue collared folk, farmers, truckers coming in here. This is the quintessential no frills local small town convenient store / cafe / diner and you feel like everyone around you knows each other. Think in the future if I ever come road tripping through, I'll drop on in again. Ordered: Unsweet Tea, onion rings, Philly chopped steak sandwich, and a Clam Chowder (This is Washington State). A great place to grab American food, burgers, fries, sandwiches and soup. Dinner menu is served after 4:00 PM, originally I wanted some Salmon. Next time.

I left without my right change Becuase apparently I was talking to a brick wall. Yes it's just some stupid change, but no worker should sit there and argue back and forth with a customer while being completely wrong and rude...
