I rarely stop here for gas because I will go to a cheaper one down the street. (Just being honest). But I decided to see what their coffee machines were like and to see if they had public restrooms. So I pumped some gas and then headed inside the store. A staff member was cleaning o e of the two restrooms and opens the unused one for me. (They are locked and ordinarily you have to have the cashier buzz you in.) She was really nice by the way. I was blown away that there are a variety of coffee choices. You can even create an iced coffee. The coffee station offered syrup pumps; they were practically empty but I still appreciate that they provide these. They also have the international coffee creamer flavors of hazelnut and Carmel macchiato. They have half and half and milk available. There were even little STOK espresso shots you can pour into your coffee. As I was taking a photo of the coffee station, the cashier was there by me to get something from under the counter. I complimented the coffee station and we spoke a few minutes. Very nice cashier as well. I chose the Machu Picchu reserve and I added a few caramel macchiato creamers to it. It was delicious. I appreciate the options at the coffee station. So if you need to use a clean restroom and get some gas, come here and try the coffee. It's worth the $2.19. read more

After a long drive, there's nothing like rolling into a place to fill up and empty out. Getting gas here is good because it's easy to get to the pumps. It's also a Chevron, so you're getting a bit higher quality gas. This is a big deal if you have an older car that you want to last a while. I automatically exited right off of the freeway and intended to go to the "No-bile" but they are not very amorous to their customers. I used to go to this Chevron station. They had such a friendly staff. The staff asked me to sign up for the $1 off gas Promo. So tonight I have to drive to Pasadena to pick up my autistic son for his birthday this weekend. I go in to get my dollar off of gas and the staff was rude. There was was only one person at the register and a line was forming. Other employees were walking by and finally another employee came to help. I put my number in the gas points and it didn't work. I showed the email to the clerk. She got mad at me and said. " You put your number in I can't help you. You need to go." I got upset and said, I would still like to get gas!" Then both clerks yelled at me and said we have a long line!" Asked for my receipt and was sad and mad. I have worked retail and I have dealt with customers and lines. Chevron maybe you should invest in better training, and maybe doing Incentives to make your employees happy. Happy employees will treat customers great and not what I got tonight. This used to be my preferred location for early-morning fill-ups of gas, cigarettes, and other consumables that generate toxic smoke and/or noxious vapors. The employees were good and nice and most of them still are, except for an early-morning employee named Rosa who has the IQ of a corn tortilla and is as friendly, helpful and personable as a Gila Monster could possibly be. I can't believe she's still there, so she must be special somehow. It is usually clean and well-maintained and has all of the usual stuff a place like this should, but both profits and suffers from its location. Like many parts of the "Bakersfield by the Sea" also known as Ventura, CA, the entire area is plagued with excessive panhandlers and others who take more active measures to separate you from your money, your possessions, and possibly your life. Unsurprisingly, they're mostly borne upon feet and (probably stolen) bicycles, although I've also encountered them on skateboards and even a few automobiles. This has been the got to stop for my family and I for years!!!! Any road trip south we would stop here for gas, a bathroom break and snacks!! But that will stop after today!!! The girl working the counter was a colossal BITCH! My husband walked in with our three year old daughter, pulled down his mask only to ask the lady to buzz him into the bathroom abs she SCREAMED at him to pull his mask up! Mind you they were the only 2 in the store abs my husband was 20-30 feet if not farther from her! Then I went in asked her to buzz me into the bathroom and she proceeded to yell at me! When I jiggled the handles of both doors and they were still locked she yelled at me that they were unlocked when in fact they were not!!! Thursday 6/1/17 Gas Prices are the same as any location. If you have Vons Reward, use it to save $. Property is well maintained, clean and well lit at night. Inside the convenience store is also well maintained, clean and well stocked of items. Coupons are displayed for certain items. Bathroom is gender neutral and clean. Customer Service (1 guy) was helpful, friendly and efficient. There was hardly any traffic when I arrived around 8:45pm. Pricey Chevron with a bad traffic pattern surrounding it. I guess I am spoiled by living down the street from a cheap, nice Chevron and being able to drive past it getting on the freeway everyday. Maybe I just expect a little more. Whenever I drive by this location they are always one of the higher priced gas stations in the Ventura County area. Part of it is the location, it is right of the freeway on Seaward by a bunch of hotels, the beach and the entrance to the freeway. To make the fact that it is expensive even worse this location is horrible to get in and out of the parking lot to get gas in the first place. It is hard to explain without pictures but the whole on ramp and off ramp traffic pattern at this intersection cuts off this parking lot and businesses on the other side of the freeway, including this gas station. I guess the confusion comes in when getting back on the freeway. While there is an on ramp for the freeway right across the street from the gas station there is a divider between yourself and said on ramp. You either have to exit the gas station on one of the far sides of the parking lot or drive down the street to the other entrance to the freeway down by Arco and In n Out. It is not that big of a deal but trust me it is more work than it is worth. You can drive a couple more miles and get your Chevron on Rose in Oxnard and save yourself about 10 cents a gallon. The station itself is just fine...it is clean and well stocked. I have never had an issue here at all. On Christmas Eve at 11:30am I'm standing in line at this Chevron Station and a lady who got gas on her hands asks the female cashier is she sold handwipes or sanitizer. The reply was no. I approach and see an entire plastic tub of individual hand wipes that gas stations usually give out just for that purpose. Almost every station will give them and there must have been 300 of them right behind the receipt printer. They were in reach and I grabbed two and told the cashier that this is what the lady was looking for because she had gas on her hands and children in the car. The cashier flipped out on me and said they were for employees only and told me not to reach behind the counter when they were about 8 inches away. Ok so maybe they are for employees only, but they cost maybe .5 cents. The same cashier watched a homeless guy walk out the door with coffee he didn't pay for and didn't say anything so I'm going to give some credit for that, but she should be consistent with her charity. I've never gone out of my way to give a bad review, if I go somewhere and I don't like it I just don't go again. Very simple. But this was a different experience. On a late drive home from the airport I pulled into Chevron about 3am and ask if they carry neuro bliss drinks "they have sleep, stress, energy etc. the woman rolls her eyes and says only 2 flavors. I looked directly over her shoulder maybe 10 feet away And there was all 4 drinks I had requested. Out of all the gas stations in pierpont, chevron is usually the best provider of snacks and service. However after waiting for 8 minutes at the window with 3 other customers at 3:30am left me infuriated. I understand that its a one woman show but delia's attitude was unnecessary after the delay. My car would not start after I filled up my gas tank and of all times I did not bring my cell phone. I was not prepared for this by any means nor was I prepared for the woman working behind the counters unfrigginbelievable who crawled up your *!# attitude. Yup Yup Yup oh yeah of all times nurse Ratched is at my service, NOT. Talk about inhumane this woman should get a medal a huge heavy one to wear around her neck. And always pay cash because bad experience using CC at gas stations.
