Prices are comparable to others in the area and fluctuates depending on the time of year. When I recently visited it was $4.79 a gallon for regular. It's Not spotless, but what gas station is really?? I don't usually go in the store connected with it so I can't comment much on that. But I like that I can enter and exit pretty easily as long as I watch out for any oncoming traffic.

The cool thing that the app can search by cities; we selected Long Beach The app brought us to this Shell gas station way off the 405 freeway on Del Amo Blvd/Cherry St. This Shell gas station is very clean and well maintained and it has a small convenience store that sold a lucky Cal Lotto ticket that won 1 million dollars. Is a definitely a good-safe spot to get some gas & continue on our journey home.

The Costco area does have beautiful views of the city area though. There are several lanes, and two gasoline pumps in each lane. We only waited about 10 minutes to get a spot. There were some cars trying to parallel park to get into a spot though, which was interesting. I haven't seen that before in the Costco Gasoline stops in Las Vegas. Great find! I'm glad we were able to stop by this Costco to fill up before driving down to the Aquarium Of The Pacific and then to Legoland in Carlsbad!

I feel that this Signal Hill location and the One in Garden Grove have the lowest prices. The further South You Drive into Orange County the more expensive it becomes. It is one of the busier ones though, and the traffic is not routed very well due to space restrictions. The best time to go is either around 6:30 AM or late in the evening. You might also be lucky and not have to wait in a long line after the morning rush-hour between 10 and 11 AM. It's great when you can just drive through get your gas and be on your way. The Service is always good at just about any Costco gas station.

The gas pump area is pretty open and spacious, so it's easy to get in and out quickly. The convenience store is not much larger than a postage stamp, but it's clean and stocked full of anything you might need and a friendly cashier to get you on your way. So, this gas station was designed to have the flow of vehicle traffic run east to west, yet people will ignore the signs. This is my peeve. PAY AT THE PUMP. I like how I can pay and use my Vons club card at the pump. PRICES. Usually the lowest locally. Other than Costco, I'll come here just for the gas prices. Pay with either a debit card or cash and you will get the discounted cash rate. Regular Vons shopper? You'll probably save an additional 10 cents by plugging in your Vons card number. EXTENDED HOSE. So, back to my peeve of wrong way drivers even though the signs clearly say "DO NOT ENTER"... Vons pumps have those extended hoses that can reel a little farther, so if you go to any gas pump, the fuel hose can extend to the side of the car that has the fuel door. It does not matter whether the fuel door is on the left or right side of your vehicle. TIP: just like any gas station, when you pay at the pump, be sure to inspect the credit card reader to make sure it has not been tampered with. One of my friends claims her credit card number was skimmed at this location, and I think my AmEx may have been also, years ago. Its always good practice to inspect and make sure the seals are not broken on the reader and that the card reading mechanism is not loose.
