This gas station has given me change with counterfeit large bills ( 50.00 ) bill . Today I went to put gas a homeless asked for money , I got sidetracked thought I had already put my gas in and drove seconds & noticed I didn't. I made a quick u turn at the Bank of America parking lot ( literally across the street ) upon returning the gas station attendant tried to tell me that someone else already pumped the gas from where I was . If you live in Long Beach and near the Wrigley area, you should go here to fill up Chevron gas. I used to never go here because the gas prices were always much higher than other Chevron. But one day I notices that the prices dropped significantly. Come to find out, the owner of this particular Chevron changed and decided to drop the prices. If you decide to pay cash, you can fill up for 10 cents less than credit payments. Pretty good deal in my book. read more

The best part about this gas station is its location. SUPER close to the freeway, which provides the convenience of only a short detour when you need some gas. Also, they are always open, which is definitely a relief when it's late at night and you are running out of gas. To be honest, I've never had any huge problems with this gas station. However, there are a few things that will make me rank this gas station lower than others. First: Price. This is not the cheapest gas station, but it's a Chevron, so I guess it's to be expected. But there is a gas station just down the street that is usually at least 10 cents cheaper. Second: This gas station is pretty cramped, so it can get super crazy during rush hours. Pros: Close to the freeway. Open 24/7 Night time clerk is super cool and does a good job of chasing away the transients. Cons: Cash vs Credit prices. Boo! Who carries cash anyway? 10 cents more to use a card is mega lame. Prices are about 10 cents more (even for cash) than the Chevron in Signal Hill. Pumps are in crap condition, like pieces literally falling off. Price and gallon read outs are so scratched and cloudy you can't see the numbers. Not all the pumps have all the different levels of gas, so beware of the pump you pull up to, could end up having to move your car or buy premium. See above re: transients. read more

Visited this location this morning. Spent 63.00 dollars at the pump for a half tank of gasoline. Went inside to purchase krispy crunchy chicken. There was only myself and one other customer at the time. Female employee call me over right away to second window and proceeded to help me. I inquired about what kind of specials they had on the chicken, they don't have anything about specials posted inside. I order 2 wings and a small potato wedge. Mind you it's around 10:30 am so the chicken, wedges was fresh and fully stocked. I pay for my order but instead of finishing my transaction she tells me to step aside so she can help a gentleman that just walked in. He purchased a single Blunt. Then another person comes in and he buys two packs of cigarettes. Then she proceeds to complete my order. I explained to her that my time is just a valuable and that since I was the customer she was originally servicing that my transaction should have been completed before she served another customer that walked in during the middle of my transaction. She apologized, then the male employee, think is was a manager say to me that if I didn't like Don't buy. I let him know I didn't like being pushed to the side when clearly my transaction could have been completed before she started to help other customers. He apologized and again stated if I didn't like don't buy. I let him know that once a you start a transaction with a customer you finish it, if they couldn't handle the volume, was unable to organize themselves maybe they shouldn't have a krispy Crunchy chicken in their establishment. Requested a refund which was granted and left. I will not patronize this location ever again. The unprofessionalism, rudeness blatant disregard, disrespect is unacceptable! This location need to rethink having Krispy Crunchy chicken clearly these employees are unorganized, lack multitasking skills, have poor mannerism! Since I had to leave a star I gave them 1 star! I feel it necessary to state online and publicly. Found the merchant charging me credit, in which I always like to pay cash for the same reason of saving the $0.10. Today I went through a situation wherein the usual merchant charges me $0.10 more per gallon. He first insisted that it was a mistake, then again, not to worry, and finally he came over and re-assured me that he'd print me a receipt and that the gas pump station incorrectly is stating $3.939, where I should be paying $3.839 per gallon. So, I told the merchant, that's fine, I'll calculate it afterwards. I did, and what he was telling me was wrong. I went in for a receipt and the $0.51 he had to reimburse me. He printed out a receipt from a different gas pumping station, and then claimed that this was the initial mistake he had made. I looked over the receipt, and told him clearly to print me the receipt in which shows my true purchase of gas. Can you imagine, how much he makes from ripping people off within one whole year?! Thousands! I am disappointed with this gas station. Bad conduct. And to top it off, I was not given a receipt, given $0.50 and treated as if I was in the wrong.
