everytime i've gone to this gas station my card gets skimmed and cash apps get sent to "Jim Sanders". Don't trust these scammers.

I pull up behind someone who's leaving, planning on pulling forward. As I sit, car In drive and…read morerunning, the attendant pops the cover, takes the cap off and has the pump inserted before I even notice! This is dangerous. I quickly put it in park and turn off the engine. I hand him my card and say forty of regular. He tried the card repeatedly and asking for the zip code. I repeated it several times. He hands it back and says it's not working. I give him another card. I check the first card while the pump is going, it's fine and the balance is fine...? He has left and it's been a while, so I look at the pump...it's way over $40. He's set it to fill. I jump out and stop it...no sign of the attendant anywhere. Another employee wanders by as I'm hanging up pump. I ask him where the guy is that started the pump...he shrugs and says "I dunno". So I complete the purchase myself (My other car is a diesel so I pump my own a fair amount) and I'm pretty sure he miskeyed the zip code on the card and failed to set the pump for the $40. I didn't want to fill it because I had a discount elsewhere and the gas was kinda expensive. I was pretty annoyed. I didn't appreciate the attitude of the guy i asked about the other attendant. This store needs to think about the customer service provided by the staff!

Waited in line for 5 minutes to pay and then asked the cashier where the gas attendant is, he responded "he is busy doing other things". Next time I will go somewhere else. It was cold and I did not feel well, and I wanted my gas pumped for me so I could remain in the car. If I wanted to pump it myself I would have pulled into "Self Serve"

This stop was that for me, despite the fact that I didn't even leave my car. I've come to appreciate so many more things since this pandemic began, and not pumping my gas is one of them. As I pulled off of I-5 and into this station, the pride in ownership was apparent. Not only was it clean, but there were beautiful planters between the pumps. Quite the change from the typical overflowing trash cans and squeegee in a dirty bucket of window wash. The pump attendant was busy but rushed over to greet us as soon as he was free. "$10 Regular please" I said as I handed over the bill. He ran inside to deliver the funds and request they start the pump (some stations require you to go inside to pay). I took in the beauty of the mountains that lie just beyond the sign and golden arches as I waited. This station also had a McDonald's attached. Before we knew it, the pump clicked and we were on our way with well wishes to "Have a nice day!", from the nice gentleman working the pumps. Perhaps it's the fact that I've been so reclusive, or the year 2020 in general, but I certainly find myself valuing kindness and (socially distanced) human interaction more than ever these days!
