This is the 3rd time and it was not a charm at all! 1 day in April I pull into FULL SERVICE FOR GAS ** I have arthritis in my hands and cannot pump gas myself. I go in and pay 50$ for gas this was about 11:30am the attendant was pumping gas! After paying I went out and he was gone! I waited a full 15minutes! Called inside only to be told the manager was having him Weed Wack? Seriously the Full service had 6 people waiting and nobody was taking care of customers at all because the attendant was WAKING WEEDS? Last week I pulled in around 1pm paid 30$ went back out and again he was gone?? There was a line of cars and with 6 in full service! Today 5/27 at approximately 3:30 3:45 I went in purchased 20$ of gas and proceeded to wait AGAIN the attendant had disappeared again! While waiting another customer on the other side of pump1 asked if I had seen the attendant that she had been waiting for some time even before I pulled in? Note: I had pulled into pump 1 in full service and 2 other vehicles pulled in behind me! While waiting a car approached wanting to pull into pump 1 at this point I had not yet received my gas! I motioned to the pump and said I am waiting for my gas! This lady became frustrated and kept telling me to pull into a parking place this went on for some time as she became angrier! I finally yelled out that I am waiting for my gas! By this time at least 10minutes had gone by and she did not give up ** again I yelled that I was waiting for my gas** as once again I called inside (pretty sure the person that answered thought I was yelling at him!), THIS IS REDICULOUS PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME! Finally, as someone from inside came out to help pump my gas the attendant turned up again. Customer neglect is resulting in ANGRY Customers! Another customer becoming angry at me and insisting that I pull away and go park! Is unacceptable BOTTOM LINE THE FAULT LIES WITH AM/PM STAFF. Who knows why she was so upset and insistent that I pull into a parking spot! Maybe she had an emergency? Either way this should not of happened! Violating state law. 5th time in 5 weeks, I could not get fuel because they had nobody on staff to pump gas for the disabled. So went to Albany AM/PM on OR hwy 34 and that employee looked like he was slumped over the counter asleep. read more

I pull up behind someone who's leaving, planning on pulling forward. As I sit, car In drive and running, the attendant pops the cover, takes the cap off and has the pump inserted before I even notice! This is dangerous. I quickly put it in park and turn off the engine. I hand him my card and say forty of regular. He tried the card repeatedly and asking for the zip code. I repeated it several times. He hands it back and says it's not working. I give him another card. I check the first card while the pump is going, it's fine and the balance is fine...? He has left and it's been a while, so I look at the pump...it's way over $40. He's set it to fill. I jump out and stop it...no sign of the attendant anywhere. Another employee wanders by as I'm hanging up pump. I ask him where the guy is that started the pump...he shrugs and says "I dunno". So I complete the purchase myself (My other car is a diesel so I pump my own a fair amount) and I'm pretty sure he miskeyed the zip code on the card and failed to set the pump for the $40. I didn't want to fill it because I had a discount elsewhere and the gas was kinda expensive. I was pretty annoyed. I didn't appreciate the attitude of the guy i asked about the other attendant. I got $15.00 in gas but they charged my account $39.00. It wasn't an authorization, it was the actual charge. Before I knew this I went inside to grab a drink. With three people standing at the register the cashier was walking around checking the soda machines. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN! read more

Average gas station and mini-mart. It's Oregon so staff pumps gas and you pay inside. It's an Arco so cash/debit and no credit cards accepted. I stopped here on a long drive because the gas prices here tend to be cheaper than at other stations and we were paying with cash. The mini-mart had a nice selection of snacks and sodas/drinks and some really tasty, totally unhealthy looking hot food items. Right off the I-5, this station is easy to find and easy to use. I will probably stop here again if I take another road trip up this way. read more

Finally get to use a credit card here. Been waiting to do this, sounds odd huh? they are usually a good price, but I also track my gas with a card, so up until last year we have not been able to use a credit card. Nice little store inside, OK bathrooms.... read more

I will let Arco keep both stars due to eliminating the .45 fee for using a debit card. I was always happy that they had the cheapest gas around, but I've recently realized that Costco has been coming in .03-.05 cheaper than Arco, and I'm SURE the quality of gas is far superior. I'm over the pre-pay thing as it's pretty standard these days. As for the food, it's still not real.... Meh... read more

Beware the caveat of lowest advertised gas prices. This station takes only debit cards or cash. You have to pre-pay inside a grubby convenience store which is understaffed. To use your debit card as payment, you must pay a nominal fee. There is an ATM on premises and their fees are significantly higher. I wonder how much Arco AM/PM charges for handling cash these days. I got to pump my own gas however, as the attendant was MIA by the time I paid for my gas. And I'm convinced their gas is sh*tty as my recorded gas mileage was nowhere near as good as when I fill up with other brands. Never again. No matter how cheap. read more

Lots of pumps, which makes things run smoothly. Easy access to the restroom, although the wait is longer than I would have liked. Easy access to the freeway also makes things run smooth and save time. Thumbs down on not being able to pump your own gas in OR. read more

Rude, rude, rude. Pulled in to get gas, nice little bait and switch on pricing. 10 cents more Per gallon if you use anything except cash. First pump, pulled up - ride attendant #1 says if you're paying with a card, go inside. Card reader broken. Pulled around to another pump and then was told the price difference. Now we will pay cash. Go inside to pay cash says rude attendant number 2. Pay and pump and attendant sees me posting this he says Have a great day. read more

This store doesn't have fountain water.... what! even if I wanted to pay full price there is no water there this is weird and stupid every other am/pm has is and sells it in whatever cup you want for 15 to 25 cense. Says they're open 24 hours but they're closed for at least 15 minutes during "shift change." Aka all the employees stand right outside the doors doing absolutely nothing. The gateway arco ampm in Springfield Oregon has some of the rudest and most disrespectful employee's I have ever delt with. The gas attendant didn't say a single word to me at first all he did was put the pump into my car and then walk away to continue his conversation with what appeared to be an off the clock employee. My husband and I were trying to pay with a debit card which I thought you can do at the pump but since he didn't talk to us my husband had to go inside which upset my husband so he sarcastically shouted to the attendant thanks partner and walked into pay the next thing I see happen is the attendant removed the pump from my car and said we had to leave while the off work employee went in and kicked my husband out the employee's both claimed he had said something deraugative which he didn't. Then as we were waiting to pull out of the station both the attendant and off work employee stood by the pumps shout rude disrespectful things at us. I will never go here again and I'm going to tell everyone I know that the gateway arco is a horrible place to get gas and has the worst employees I have ever delt with and I can only imagine how many others of experienced such rude service here and I hope that corporate deals with this problem before they lose to many more customers read more

Frankly, this place is great. The attendants are amazing and always talkative and friendly. I can usually get in and out as fast as possible, unless there is a Total Eclipse going on, but that is not their fault. Most of the staff in the store is polite and friendly, even offering some advice about where to get work done on my car, even reciting some of the problems my make and model has, but there is one female cashier there that was a total BITCH. I have no other way to put it. This little brown haired girl with glasses was flat out rude to me when I went to pay and because I held up her line for a minute by deciding what cigs I wanted to buy, she had the gal to snap at me like I was preventing the one person behind me from defusing a bomb. When I told he she was rude and gave her the money, she simply yelled "Next in line." I have been coming here for years and never had a problem until now. read more
