Overall, solid 3.5, but the cashier really made our day. We wandered in for a soda and drink, and got what we were after, but if we needed more than that, we would probably go elsewhere due to price point. But again, this spot came in clutch when needed.

The first thing I noticed was that all of the other customers were staring ta me while I fueled up. I wasn't dressed in lavish clothing nor was in a fancy car. I can't quite put my finger on it, but they couldn't take their eyes off of me. Other than the odd looks, fueling up my car was uneventful. The pumps were typical of a Chevron and there were several, easy to access rows of pumps. Inside I got the same odd look from the cashier, but she was very friendly. The store was stocked with typical convenience store items including the much sought after spicy jerky, spicy peanuts and spicy pickles. If you are headed through Livingston and need some fuel, this is as good a place as any. I do wish I could figure out why I got so many looks though.

One long walk inside the building, crossing outside to the construction zone on Convention Center Blvd to get my Powerball tickets. It was bustling outside the store in in the elevator lobby as a tour bus had unloaded people to attend another convention. The cashier sold me my Powerball tickets, and I walked back to Hall J to attend the trade jewelry show. I used the iPhone APP Lottery Places to locate a nearby lottery retailer. The closest was Fulton Place Market from Hall J 0.4 miles one way distance. Quite a walk, but I did it! Walking 0.8 miles, or 4,224 feet to, & from, was an experience for me inside the Ernest Morial Convention Center to Fulton Place Market inside the Hertz building commercial complex, & back.
