One of my favorite things about living in southern LA is finding little places off the beaten path…read moreto enjoy some great food. This place is just that. As soon as you walk into this convenience store you smell pleasant aroma from the food in the back. The lamb here is fantastic. I got the gyro platter for 7.59 and only finished all my food because it's that good. The lamb melts in your mouth. My man Ben gave me a little piece of lamb to sample before my meal, and stated better than filet mignon right?! And I had to just nod my head and smile. The side salad, cucumber white sauce, and hummus the meal comes with are all on point. I'm so satisfied, and thankful it didn't break the bank, which is rare nowadays. Friendly service, fantastic food, I'll back here everyday till my class is done here at southeastern. Another Hammond gem!

While the…read moresetup is nice and they have numerous pumps so never any wait there seems to be some sort of issue at the pump with using Apple Pay as it doesn't seem to work with that or any tap to pay Card or app. Like most people I rarely if ever carry a credit card because I can use my phone to pay for everything so would be great if they got this fixed as it's a pretty big inconvenience.

If you use a credit card it will aggravate you about putting in the ZIP Code which when you have several credit cards that go to different addresses it can be hard to remember which ZIP Code is used for which card. When you try to pay inside with a debit card that you want to use as a credit card they won't let you, it has to be debit. Shouldn't be so difficult to use a credit card and get gas!

Free Air!!! (When it's working)…read more This review may be one of my shortest, but I hope it is still helpful. My company car is a magnet for sharp objects to pierce my tires. No matter how many patch/plugs I get, more nails, screws or random bits of metal become embedded in my tires. This means I am constantly filling them up in between repairs so that I don't have a catastrophic tire failure. This gets expensive which is where this Chevron comes in. There is an air pump near the car was that is free! The problem with it being free is that people treat it like garbage so it is frequently out of order. But if you need air, you can't beat the price. The rest of the station is pretty boring. There are pumps, a small convenience store and that is about it.
