I walked in the station office on April 5th at around 3:52 pm and asked for regular graded gas for $80. I scanned my PC Optimum point card as usual routine after the cashier input the requested amount to the machine. The Esso cashier yelled at me very rude and asked me why I scanned the PC Optimum without his permission. I asked what had I done wrong, I did this routine for the past few years. He started rude, non stop yelling and telling me that he recognized me and knew I went there to fill up gas all the time, he can refuse selling gas to me, ok, go complaint me.......... I asked if I did anything not properly. He told me that I scanned the point card may led to his redo the work again which I do not understand what he means. I reconfirmed with him if I caused him to redo the procedure this time? He said not this time but he will cancel this transaction and not selling the gas to me and asked me not to visit their gas station again. It has been a month now. Chevron on Blundell is $1.297 And this Petro Canada is always $1.319. The staffs are horrible. They don't even come out to help you. They chit chat inside the store or with other customers for a long time. I waited 10 minutes to get help when there are only 2 cars at the gas station. To be honest, I'm surprised the pumps aren't analogue with the spinning wheels and the little spinny flow gauges. On a side note, this is the last surviving location in the Lower Mainland. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is Richmond after all, with the full serve pumps. This place is so old school that prepaid (credit card) gas requires 2 transactions - one for the prepaid amount, and a 2nd separate transaction for the unused amount. The pumps don't automatically refund. Be sure to get that 2nd transaction done before leaving. As of the time of writing, there is a 7c discount on Mondays and Thursdays for Domo club members, which beats out the Superstore discount. I guess the only downside is that there aren't many pumps available. Also the lot is quite small.

Members also enjoy the perk of $0.07 / litre off on Mondays and Thursdays and lastly $0.03 / litre off the rest of the week. The station is equipped with 4 vintage gas pumps (Regular 87 and Premium 91+) no mid grade available. The best thing it's full service so the attendants will pump your gas and even bring the POS machine to you for payment without you even having to exit your vehicle. There is a little convenience store located at the center of the island if you choose to pick up some snacks on the go which are reasonably priced. There's only one Domo gas station in Richmond and with their nearly non- existent advertising costs allows them to offer the cheapest gas in town VS the bigger branded stations Chevron, Petro Canada, Esso, Shell.
