I stopped to get gas at Ed's Chevron Stations 1702 North Tustin St. in Orange, ca The cars gas tank light went on as I got off the 55 frwy Kattela exit. I parked the car on the #6 gas pump. I went into the Extra Mile Store to pay cash for gas. At $3.67 it took 14.89 gallons of gas. I cleaned the cars windshield. Then I went back to get my change. I really don't like this gas station ever since I heard about a car theft with a poor doggy that happened here years ago. I am always extra careful and lock my car when I run in to pay for gas. If my dog is with me, we wont come here. Gas is expensive here. But Cheveron is usually more expensive then lets say CostCo gas. Lots of snacks, drinks, candies and other trinkets. Like phone chargers and fidget spinners, lighters, ect. Of course they have lottery tickets. Just a typical gas station. Service was nothing special. Nothing over friendly, just pay me for gas. This Chevron is always less expensive than other's for some reason. Maybe because it's close to other stations? I don't really care, I just like less expensive. However, I only go here when I have a .20 cent discount from my Vons card. Bright lighting, easy access in/out, nice little food store, it's all good. And it's clean. read more

Top Five Reasons Why I need to Vent. As if pumping gas is not bad enough... 1. Credit Card Machine Not Working. 2 .Pump was super slow. Super slow.. like half as fast as regular pumps. 3. The thingy to hold the handle to pump was broken. I stood there and pumped 15 gallons at super slow speeds. 4. The Music playing was the worst ever at super slow pumping speed. 5. My car needed some gasoline, so I decided to stop at the Chevron Gas station corner of Tustin and Taft.  There were not too many people pumping gas.  I then decided to go inside to get a cup of coffee.  The coffee tasted good and was hot.    The gentleman behind the counter was real nice. read more

The prices here are usually lower than most of the surrounding chevrons. The store clerks are pretty nice and give you fast quick service. I like getting the extra large soda here, usually a wild cherry Pepsi. My only complaints are that sometimes people will go around asking for money for gas, but that happens at almost every gas station. Also they now have an automated lotto scratcher dispenser instead of the employees handing you the scratcher. If you don't have exact change this will be an issue because the machine doesn't give change. Plus it just feels less lucky... Keep on pumping gas my friends. read more

When you get the rude staff here, you just kill em with kindness. Sure, as a paying customer you shouldn't have to do that, but it does work wonders... and always disarms people. 5 stars because the guys I've seemingly run into here have always been really kind to me, and because I keep winning the lottery here... while every other place in town has been a jinx. Oh, as far as pumping gas here and the wild array of entrances, exits, choose your own adventures and strangely parked vehicles coming at you from all different directions... yeah, definitely NOT a fan... but hey, can't have it all and + it's not like your options are limited on this street. read more

Last time I went here, I had to agree with Bubba. The most unfriendly staff ever. Eyes from the cashier that can kill you by a mere glare and call over vultures to eat you at the same time! Anyways, I always stop by for a quick drink when refilling water nearby, and today wasn't so bad. The guy actually said "next!" and wished me a good day before I left... (betcha he didn't mean it...) Honestly the gas prices of this particular spot is cheaper than any other Chevron I know. There's another Chevron near the 55 freeway on Katella (which is like 2 blocks away from this one) and the price is a good dime higher. Each penny counts, so before I go anywhere, I gas up at this spot. Another thing that sucks about this place is the room. With a handful of pumps, it's hard to maneuver around cars! And at a certain pump, you can get stuck behind someone until they're done (time varies). The location is kind of a drag if you're coming from Chapman and the entrances are pretty hazardous and confusing since it's located on 2 busy streets. You won't know if someone is turning on the street or turning into the station. Keep an eye out because that's a massive potential accident. The inside of the place is always clean, and the bathroom is inside as well (thank god...), but the only thing they CAN work on and bring my review one more star up is to work on their customer service. Surprisingly clean restrooms for a gas station. Great prices and they have enough space and pumps where I have never waited in line to get gas. Really nice staff too!! read more

Waited almost 30 minutes in line for a transaction that couldn't be solved. I'm temporarily disabled and waiting in line that long really took a toll. Unfortunately I needed gas badly enough to stick around. read more

I do not know why I went back to this place. Maybe it's because it's the only place nearby with propane. I went this evening to get a propane tank refill and waited for over 15 minutes. I went back inside and "Alfonso" was standing around. I asked him if he is the propane person and he said yes. I informed him I've been waiting for over 15 minutes and he said if I was in a hurry I needed to buy the exchange tanks. He said he was on his break and that I would have to wait. Horrible customer service and rude employees. The manager of this Chevron should know about this already and if he doesn't the owner needs a new manager. read more

Is it me or is this cheap gasoline? Everytime I fill up here I am always on empty way sooner then when I fill up down the street with 76 gas or shell. I guess you get what you pay for....so not with saving the extra 10 cents. I would be better off with filling up at Arco. - I can't believe I just said that. read more

Unfortunately, this is the only local place that refills propane! They advertise that they sell it from 7-7. Tip: don't show up at 6:59 and expect service... Even though both attendants are still there. Another tip: the skinny kerns guy doesn't know how to properly fill a tank and leaves some air in the tank leaving it hard to finish the complete tank. Also, don't show up during break time as you won't get service either. I guess it is too much hassle for the employees to leave their air-conditioned store. read more

The filling station (No. 1) wouldn't authorize my card so I went inside to use my debit card. I asked for 30 dollars in gas and the guy smiles. I ok the 30 bucks, fill my gas and on my way. 5 minutes later my phone rings saying Parish from fraud protection of Bank of America noticed an unauthorized charge. When asked where, he couldn't tell me that info. ??? He then wanted to verify my account and asked for my account login. wtf? I told him I'd call him back. He reluctantly hung up. The number matched the telephone number on the card. But I suspected it had been spoofed. I get home, call the 1-800 number and find out that someone tried to charge 120 bucks at the chevron station. Bank of america cancelled the card but that was a close call. I'm guessing the shady guy at the Chevron might have been in on it. So mad. read more
