Every now and then, you come across a business that reminds you that goodness still exists…read more Johnson Shell & Automotive on Calder Ave in Beaumont, TX is that kind of place. For years, my family and friends have trusted this long-standing shop, and during my time in Beaumont, I've come to see why. They are honest, respectful, informative, fair, and really good at fixing cars, and more than once, they've surprised me with small but generous acts of kindness. One day after a series of repairs, I drove off and realized they'd quietly fixed something extra, just to help. No fanfare, just care. It turned an exhausting day into one filled with gratitude and delight. Thank you, Glen Johnson and your entire team, for your expertise, integrity, and heartfelt service. You make a difference, and it shows.

I wasn't expecting to get it vacuumed, but it really needed it. I was then able to get back in the vehicle and drive it through the car wash. I thought I would just drive out after the blowers blew the excess water off, but then another employee motioned for me to pull forward under an awning where he proceeded to hand dry the vehicle with cloth towels and dry the windows!!! Everyone was super courteous and very friendly! I'll use them again when I'm in the area! They did a great job!!!

Knew it must have been lost at the car wash because I went straight home. Called them and asked if anyone had found it. Employee said they would look and call me back. Several hours later no call. Called again and asked to speak to manager. Manager told me he "had walked the area" and did not find it. Drove back there to find it myself. Was scolded for being in empty car wash bay, only for employees. Asked the attendant that pre washes cars before going through wash bay if he had seen an outside mirror cover that had come off. He said "sure, it's right here" and handed it to me. Manager must not want happy customers because he surely didn't care about me and lied that he had actually searched for the cover. I have used this business for the last 20 years and today was my last visit…read more Last time I was at the shop the owner short with me. I asked them to check the fluid in the differential and he told me they did. I was watching and the mechanic didn't pull a single wrench on the diff. So I decide to try again with another vehicle of mine today @ 2:30/2:45pm. I pulled in, he asked me was I there for. When I told him coolant flush he laughed and said not on a Saturday at 4: 0clock. IT was 2:30pm. He asked me to pop the hood. He made a statement someone been working on this vehicle. I told him it was me. He told me what was loose. I wasn't there for that and didn't ask him about it. He Bryan(owner) I think is his name. Proceeded to tell me how he couldn't do the job. He was rude about it. I told him close it up. He was still talking to me for some reason. At this point I wasn't going to expose myself to his attitude anymore. I guess when you own a successful business you can turn people away. I would like to mention I emailed prior to showing up. The fact that I did not get an email reply makes it worse. So your business model is laugh at a customer infront of people then tear appart how shitty of a job the vehicles owner did trying to repair it? This isn't the first time or second time the owners be short with me and my questions. I wont be back.
