everything is overpriced. Was Lowe's, $1 more than it any other store. Gas, most expensive you'll find anywhere. And, the candy is stale.

Eddie's Paint Works

Eddie's Paint Works

I had some body damage on my vehicle and Eddy and his guys fixed me up SUPER quick. He was also…read morestraight up with me about everything and never did I feel I was being steered into something that wasn't in my best interest. Eddy is also very knowledgeable, as you'd hope a guy who runs any kind of auto shop would be, and offered multiple solutions to me. This is probably the best place you could take your car for any kind of problem and that's exactly what I will be doing moving forward.

I'll start by saying that I am by far the pickiest guy I know when it comes to cars in general, and…read moreespecially paint matching on auto body repairs. I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. I'll never look for another auto body shop as long as I live here and as long as Eddie is around.

Without warning the engine siezed and I found myself coasting to the center divide.... Well that sucks but no problem, I have roadside assistance through my insurance company (or at least I thought I did). I grabbed my cell phone and placed a call with traffic wizzing by at 70 mph barely able to hear. The kind gentleman took my info and told me I should receive a call soon from the dispatcher to get my location and give me an ETA for the tow. Because of my location, I was basically stuck until help arrived. 3 stops from passing motorcyclists, 3 stops from CHP to check on me, my wife leaving work early to bring me a bottle of water because I had been standing in 90 degree temps in full riding gear for almost 4 hours suffering from heat exhaustion and super dehydrated, still no call from my insurance roadside assistance. The 3rd CHP officer felt sorry for me and took me to a gas station a couple of exits down the highway with my wife following because she was sitting on the opposite side of the freeway in her car unable to bring me the water. In addition to getting the bottle of water from my wife, the awesome CHP officer dispatched a tow truck. The tow truck driver showed up 15 minutes later at the gas station where I was at and proceeded to tell me that the CHP rate for him to tow me was $249.00 per hours and to get my bike off the center median and back to my home 30 miles away was about 2 1/2 hour job because the clock didn't stop until he got back to the yard. In other words it was gonna cost me almost $600 to rescue my bike with a potential blown engine. I took a pass on him and started Googling motorcycle towing companies near me. Top of the list was JL Motorcycle Towing and Transport. It was close to 6:00 pm by this time but Jose answered the phone, I explained my dilemma and he hung up with me, contacted one of his drivers and a few minutes later Stephen called me back, got the location of my bike, gave me a much more reasonable quote of $250, took my payment over the phone told me he would "Treat my ride with pride" and a few hours later I was reunited with my bike at my home. Stephen the driver was super friendly and he definitely treated my bike with pride. He told me he was on his way home to start his weekend when Jose called him for one last job of the day. He even rolled it into my garage for me (it needs a new engine). These guys are super professional. Their rigs are clean and designed for motorcycle transport. Stephen even called a few days later to check on the condition of my bike. Had to give him the bad news which he clearly felt bad for me. Also dealt with Amy from the office days later to get a copy of my receipt e-mailed to me so I can get reimbursed from my insurance company. She was super nice and accommodating. Top notch company and I will definitely use them again if I need towing.
