Car wash destroyed my wiper. Did not get reimbursement for the wash fee

Beware of the car wash. Twisted the metal part of one of my windshield wipers. My car is not particularly old and it goes through these washes regularly. My wipers weren't sticking up or anything weird before going through it. This wash was super strong. I went inside to speak to the manager, but there was no manager on duty. The person at the counter said that the sign said that they're not responsible for wipers. Did not even offer to refund what I paid for the wash. No way was I going to take a piece of paper from her during covid to fill out a form. Not even sure if they had the power to refund me anything. Took the loss and got new wipers.

Car wash is 6.00, is no touch, gets top soil off, 90 minute dryer you control pace of car, leaves lots of spotting. No discount for gas purchase. You will need to spend 15 to 30 minutes wiping it down after, still not great. Vac is 1.75 extra. Not sure I would try it again. Beats the dirty scratchy cloth sweaty employee uncaring expensive full service places.

-Affordable gas prices -Convenient location off of Marine Ave and Aviation Blvd -Friendly staff -Clean store inside -Never too busy inside I like Chevron with Techron and this location got itself a new customer.

This wash literally just gets your car wet (it's brushless). Worst wash I've ever tried in my entire life. I had to rub the whole thing down with microfiber cloths while it was wet to get all the dirt and dust off myself. See photos for all the dirt that was on my rags after wiping it down. Biggest waste of money in my life.

I fill up here weekly and appreciate the location, the new / clean facilities, and the fact that not only do the squeegees work but the station uses windshield cleaner rather than plain ol' water. While not a gas station connoisseur, I like this station as much as somebody could like a gas station.

At the Shell station, there's a store called Rocket (unlike the Shell location on Rosecrans Ave & Inglewood Ave.) You can walk inside and pay for your gas (or outside at the pump), buy some snacks, drinks, buy yourself a few lotto tickets/scratchers, hey you might be lucky. It's very clean and the worker there is friendly. The outside area of the gas station is a bit tight to get into the other side near Inglewood Ave. I recommend driving towards the back part of the Shell station (where Subway is located) if you're trying to get to either side of the station to fill up. If you're entering on the Manhattan Beach Blvd side and you're trying to go to the right part of the station, you won't be able to get through when there's a car parked there filling up. You'd have to go around to the left side. They also have a water/air station nearby. They have 2 different options to fill up: Cash or Credit/Debit. Only difference is Cash payment is about $0.10 cents cheaper. If you want to maximize your gas savings, be sure to shop at Ralph's/Food 4 Less stores and use your rewards card to rack up fuel points and use it towards your next fill up. If you don't have one, sign up for free at the Ralph's/Food 4 Less stores or sign up on the Fuel Rewards program on the Shell website and get savings that way too. Especially since gas prices are expensive in Cali, I make sure to use my fuel points and save. I love the fact that it's super close by to where I live. Very convenient and easy access.

Fortunately this location is on the way back from my gym, so it's very convenient for me to gas up here. It's best to come here in the mornings, since later in the day it can get pretty busy. They did add a few more gas pumps over the past couple of years, so there's rarely a long line of cars in the morning. And sometimes you can pull right up to a pump if you're lucky and time it right. The pumps and stations are nicely maintained and clean. You need a Costco membership to gas up here, which is a plus for members.

This Costco Gas faces a formidable circulation challenge: a large warehouse serving multiple nearby…read moreneighborhoods, several parking-lot entrances, freeway-adjacent traffic, dealership traffic across the street, and the dense vehicle-and-pedestrian movement endemic to Costco warehouse lots. The greater surprise is the degree of coherence ultimately imposed on the site. The current arrangement imposes order where the layout once invited confusion. Metal crowd-control barricades now guide drivers into a defined serpentine approach, preventing the gas line from dissolving into scattered parking-lot traffic. The arrangement has an almost comic resemblance to a Disney queue, except the payoff is not a ride but gasoline priced low enough to justify the procession. The barricade-guided queue improves the customer experience in concrete ways. Entry is clearer, the waiting line feels more orderly, and ordinary parking traffic no longer clashes as aggressively with cars trying to reach the pumps. Sacrificing a few parking spaces for a dedicated queue was the correct tradeoff; the lot is expansive enough to absorb the concession, and the station gains far more in clarity than it yields in parking capacity. Timing remains consequential at a location this busy. Weekday mornings offer the most fluid experience. Late Sunday afternoons are markedly less hospitable, and afternoons before long weekends are best avoided. Used with that timing in mind, this is one of the most effectively organized Costco Gas locations: still busy, still unmistakably Costco, but transformed by pragmatic queue design into a station that feels far easier to use than its location should allow.

Owner is kind, helpful and speaks English, which makes communicating simple. You can tell the cashiers like their job as they are always in a good mood and very helpful. They accept Credit Cards inside. And just FYI, for all those who want to gripe about the 35 cent fee, the owner has NOTHING to do with this. It comes from Corporate and ALL ARCO gas stations charge a 35 cent fee and NONE accept Credit Cards UNLESS the Owner takes it upon themselves, (pays), to have the ability to accept Credit Cards. So, instead of complaining, people should actually be thanking the owner because the ARCO just down the street on Inglewood Ave & Marine Ave. ONLY accepts Debit. The pumps have recently been updated, they added a lot more lighting, which makes you feel safe if you are ever having to get gas at night. Although they aren't an AM/PM, they are well stocked in a little of everything- alcohol, beverages, snacks, groceries, Scratchers, tobacco products, car maintenance items, etc., that you're pretty much guaranteed to find everything you need. My go-to station when I'm in the area
