I walked in and was met with silence, no greeting, no acknowledgment. That alone wouldn't have been a dealbreaker, but it only got worse. While I was browsing the already sparse selection, the droopy faced employee got up to hover uncomfortably close to me the entire time. Literally as I was walking to the checkout so was he. Why aren't you at your post?? At checkout, there was still no communication. No total confirmation, no basic courtesy, nothing. I even had to ask for a bag, and when I did, it was handed over carelessly without a word. No "thank you," no "have a nice day", just complete awkwardness. Do better.

I'm giving this place a 5 star rating based simply on the candy aisle…read more The selection of candy here is simply outstanding. When I was a kid, we referred to it as the "candy store," because that was its main function. Whenever, I drive through that part of Lynnwood, I always stop there and get some chewy sweetarts or some zots (maybe some other things too). But, this is partly sentimental. My dad used to pastor the Lynnwood Bible Church, which is almost kitty corner from there and I would go to the "Day and Night" after my paper-route most days. The store has changed ownership at least three times since I was a kid. But, the candy aisle remains the same.

Convenient location in a busy area with option to self-serve. I think I got the basic or medium one. For a light-medium soiled car like my early-gen small SUV (Subaru Forester), it did a great job. I especially like the softer bristles & slower spin (compared to most competition) which I think is perfectly adequate for loosening your every-day dust & grime AND in addition to less cabin noise and I think saves their energy bill. I do recommend all folding mirrors fold in to avoid accidental mirror damage (one of mine flipped forward); normally I do it or ask staff to do it but they forgot. during the drying area be ready to turn right in the narrow exit (stone wall against left corner). Staff was ok.

Do not visit the location in "Alderwood" for anything. The car wash here is damaging. We had our…read moreantenna ripped off and a previous van dented. These things happen and are not uncommon. On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court.
