I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I paid $60 for the "exterior supreme" and hand wax. I took the car home and finished cleaning what was missed for the next hour. The inside of the hatchback window was not cleaned..I had to wipe off wax in between exterior "crevices". The wheels were still dirty in between some areas. The undercarriage was NOT touched at all. If I had paid $20.00 for basic wash I would have been satisfied. I had a some higher expectations for $60.00. Adding insult to injury - the tint on the drivers side door is damaged. Unfortunately the first step is they take a high pressure air hose and air out the inside of the vehicle prior to vacuuming it. My only assumption is that I had quite a bit of sand / pebbles on the floor & it caused damage to the inside of the window / tint. I called to speak to manager and he is off next two days. I love this carwash its the best in town and have been going there for many years and they always do a excellent job.

I've been using this car wash for a few years now and they have always done a barely acceptable job. The workers don't really care about the cars they wash and it shows. I always get the $20 wheel deal because my Yukon has chrome rims. You would think a wash called the "wheel deal" would concentrate on cleaning your wheels. Well, I ALWAYS have to go over them when I get home as the car dryers always miss spots on the wheels and on the body of the car as well. They do a better job (barely) when the manger( Mark) is standing there watching. If he's not there forget about it! Anyway I took my Yukon there on Wednesday for a wash and when I got home I noticed the front left corner of my bumper was caved in! (molded plastic bumpers. what're ya gonna do?) I went back on Friday and talked to Mark about it. He was very cooperative and showed me footage from several of the video cameras they have there. It clearly showed an employee crashing my Yukon into a hard plastic garbage can at the entrance to the wash tunnel. At this point I could see Mark begin to back pedal from any responsibility. He admitted that the employee hit the can but stated that he didn't think it could have caused as much damage as was done to my car. (I guess he thought that the damage occurred at some prior time and that just by some miracle of a coincidence his employee hit my car in the exact same spot that was damaged already. That would be a hell of a coincidence). Given that the can was braced by a concrete wall behind it and a concrete curb beside it the can had no give to it. The bottom line is that Mark wouldn't give me his insurance company name or number so now I've got to cough up $500 to cover my deductible and rent a car while mine's in the body shop. I used to think that Mark was a stand up guy and that he would do the right thing and cover the damage caused by his employees bad driving. NOT SO!!!! So in closing let this be a warning to anyone taking their car to this wash. If they damage your car you're pretty much going to be on your own. If you're expecting them to pay for the damage you can just forget about it. NOT gonna happen! read more

Getting gas isn't the issue. Gas pumps operate for the most part the same. It was the service. First they have a screen that is playing news tidbits or something of that sort. I would think you would just swipe your credit card and that screen would turn to a screen where it would want to get the required info. This screen didn't. So I pressed for the attendant to help me. The volume of the television screen was so loud I could not hear the attendant until I noticed that she was speaking and asking me to put the nozzle back ( I was trying different things to see if I could get the process going). I put the nozzle back and she disappears. I am calling out to her to see if she is still there and she is not, so I proceed to try my card again and press the attendant button with no response. After being unsuccessful I go into the gas station. There is a man and a woman behind the counter. I mentioned to the man that they were not responding to the attendant button which he didn't respond to. Somehow he knew what pump I was on and he said that it timed out because I didn't enter my zip code. I told him it doesn't work and the news tidbits just keep playing whether you swipe your card or not. He proceeded to do the transaction at the counter. He was friendly. I finally got the gas I needed, but it is pointless to have an attendant button if your employees are not going to respond and help the customer. read more

Long story short. A customer of mine from an auto repair store in San Ramon had the tire / rim fall off of his trailer while heading west on 580. He was able to limp into the Chevron station off of North Livermore Ave. (south side of freeway / Las Positas Ct.). The trailer was parked over night until I could do a road side service and install a new wheel and tire the following day. The carwash manager, sorry I do not remember his name, although I can remember he is bald, went out of his way to assist me several different times. If you could imagine my frustration caused by myself, for forgetting even some of the simplest tools to repair the stranded trailer. The manager lent me two basic tools so I could patch up the rig and return to San Ramon where the job could be completed. Without his assistance, I would have been staring at a $300 tow easy. In addition, he did not charge me for coins for the air station, and even offered us some water to drink to cool off on a 90 degree day. In this economic climate, it is refreshing to know some people will treat others as they want to be treated. In the future, and when I am in Livermore and need gas, a carwash, or even a cold fountain drink, I will go out of my way and stop at Livermore Chevron. read more
