I stopped in with a friend in town who never experienced this place and they were amazed. From the world's largest car wash to a wall of jerky. We spent about 20 minutes in here exploring each side and left with beaver nuggets and a shirt.

I received a Buc-ee's dog leash as a gift, and the very first time I used it, it broke. Luckily, I have a good boy and didn't run off, which could have easily turned into a dangerous situation. For something as basic as a dog leash, I would think the quality would be more reliable, and this clearly wasn't. I went back to the store looking for an exchange, not even a refund, and that's where things got super weird and frustrating. I was told by the Manager Miah that without a receipt, nothing could be done. But, in the same conversation, she told me the item would also need to be in "resellable condition." .... HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! I used to enjoy shopping at Buc-ee's, but after this experience, I def. will not be back!

Not to be confused with Spell Gas, which is "S-P-E-L-L", or Spell Car Wash, which is "C-A-R…read moreW-A-S-H." This station is easily accessible and occasionally friendly, it's located on Mason Road and they get the job done. It definitely well located for Katy and is the kind of place that becomes a regular destination, even though the prices are about average for Katy. It's one of the better car wash facilities we've used (although we only wash our car every 2 months or so, lol, we don't really care). I have nothing bad to say about it really.

I went to the" CAR WASH" for the first time at this shell location ( mansion rd and i10). I couldn't understand how it works (Btw the car behind me also have the same issue). I had to called the gas station for assistance and a respectful male asian/African American ( not sure) so he came out of the store talking to me rude and mean. So he said you did everything wrong and he keeps walking going to the store so I follow him with my car and he didn't said anything. I have to asked him if I should wait in my car at the parking lot. He replayed with a mean voice I'll be inside. I came inside I told him what happened and he said I will give you another ticket and trying to explain but very disrespectful. He started organizing coffee creams, cleaning, put ice in buckets .. glasses over the counter, taking out trash .. ( yes, all of them while I was waiting) I asked him after waiting all this time. At this time I didn't think about that he was just waisting my time and trying to be mean and annoying. I asked him if he was the person who's gonna help me. AGAIN ! He came to explain me what I need to do raising out his voice all around the stores other customers was just looking at me like what happened with this guys. He went back to fix and organize sunglasses behind the counter ( waisting my time again) So I decided to tell him to "give me money back I don't have time for that". He left the counter going out site the store. at this moment the driver ( male) who was behind me came and said That he had an issue with the car wash. So I told him if it was that easy as you screaming to me why the other customer came after me. Long story o short .... Because I spoke to the other customer ( the driver behind) I told him he was rude to me bc I couldn't make it well. And he noticed the next customer (male) who was next to me was getting pissed out bc of the way he was talking to me and waisting my time. He completely change his voice .. at the beginning thought he has a bad day so I was very calm and not letting this affecting my mood. So conclusion he was taking to me like this way bc I was a FEMALE.. that's sad. Still Honestly i will do my best to speed the word out about this service. Rather to go to other gas and car wash even is the closer to my home.
