This is an update to my 01/25/26 review, I don't know how to update the actual review. Decided to go back today 03/10/26 to see if maybe I was imagining how much faster the brushes rotate than the previous ones and I think they are actually closer to the track your wheel is on. I was shocked to see they no longer pre-wash the car. I thought that was part of the wash. What happened to the things you put on the outside of your car to tell them what kind of wash you bought? I bought the wash and wax and tire shine but I didn't see any wax come out and I had to tell the guy drying my car to do the tire shine. Everything seemed ok until the brushes started spinning hella fast and the last one that is next to the car actually hit my left side mirror really hard and moved the mirror glass. I shrieked and as soon as I got out of there I got out of my car to make sure the mirror wasn't broken. It wasn't, but the experience is still scary, I was cringing the entire time. I think there is more material on the brushes because they look bigger and thicker than the previous ones. Maybe if I had a big truck it wouldn't bother me but I have a little Saturn SL2. I think I am going to have to find another place. read more

This is the same guy who used to manage the Rain and Shine up the street, and it is reasonable and they are kind! I think it is worth noting that the bad reviews on this place were from before he moved his operation/staff in. If you're considering where to take your car give it a go and you won't be disappointed! Fraud. The 'manager' is a fraud. I used to come here all the time for a decent wash but will never be back. The gift cards are paper and flimsy on purpose and they give you a receipt with a code but "the code is useless" and proof of purchase doesn't matter. Never thought I'd YELP a gas station but terrible customer service. I tried to simply put gas in my car and the machine froze as I typed in my zip code. Walked to the booth and got a "how much do you want me to put on your card?" and was told there was no problem with the machine. Since I wanted to fill it, I said I wanted to scan at the pump and she said "no problems so go ahead." The second time, the machine froze again! And the same comment from the cashier, never once asking me what problem I was having. Not even a "machine is in the sun, sometimes it acts up" or a "sorry your having problems" - nope, I got a snide remark when I said I'll have to get gas elsewhere since your machine is acting up. Poor Poor Poor. Get a grip and speak to your customers. Saving 10 cents per gallon due to Safeway rewards, limited to 2 rewards, is nice but the Chevron at Treat/Clayton is much better in terms of service. I'll be monitoring my credit card for a few weeks now as a result of this terrible service. Boo hiss! read more

If i could give them less than 1, they earned it! They get 1/2 a star for a convenient location. That is where everything falls apart. Old outdated pumps that don't read cards. Rude employees that blame you for their failed equipment ... "you must not have money if it won't work at the pump". Tried to leave my card at the register to fill my tank was told that isn't possible. Treats customers like they are putting him out by making him push a button on his register. I said again "It's not my card that isn't working, it's your equipment" when my card worked at his register i was expecting an apology, but that might be too hard for an ego maniac rude human to admit when he is wrong. I pull in the Chevron like I've been in the Chevron at about once a week or so and I purchased a car wash since I have a few extra minutes. What the hell I think to myself I've got a few extra minutes to wait I might as well get a wash on the car. After I purchased my gas and carwash I pull up to the carwash and see that the sign is closed. The manager is leaving the car wash just closing it. I ask him if I could just get a refund for the wash and he actually says to me "the 'F-ing' carwash is closed, and we don't do refunds... come another time". These guys do a great job on my car every time. The Filipino lady that works the register isn't very nice. But the car wash is great. It usually gets pretty busy and wait times can be pretty long. But the quality of the wash is what keeps me coming back. They wash my car mats and do a spotless job inside and out. Other car washes I have been to, I usually have to point out spots they missed and have them touch it up. I don't have that problem here. Don't come here if you're in a rush but do come for a quality wash. read more

These guys are friendly and fast and wash with care. The cashier even drove my car from the gas pump to the vacuum for me! My car was a mess from going camping. There was dog hair throughout even though I have a hammock in the back for my furry friends. They vacuumed all of the hair out and made my 2008 look almost new to me again! Of course it wasn't perfect but I didn't pay $$hundreds for a detail, I paid less than $40 for a hand wash. God bless your service hearts. Thank you for taking care of my cars for over 10 years now. I just wanted a wash n dry. 2 lines of cars I was the first for just a wash they made me wait while the guy vacuumed all the other cars when I finally got to go,the car in front of me wasn't moving ,stuck in the car wash really??!!!Do yourself a favor drive down to the one on ygnacio and Alberta way. This spot is very convienient for me as i live pretty close and the unlimited monthly car wash for $59.99 caught my attention. The bronze wash, whjxh is normally $15 sounded like a steal and the fact i havr a black car makes it nice to come as muxh as i want. Problem is, everytime i get it washed, there is still a ton of bird shat and crap all over the car! Not a very good wash if you ask me, even for unlimmited. Any carwash I have ever been you can use the vacuum if you already pay for carwash. I start vacuuming myself and the cashier man came and told me in a ride mod you gotta pay 4 extra dollars for the air. I am paying already $13.99 for a passthrough car wash and purchasing $43.00 on gas, I dont think is fair to pay extra 4 dollars for using a vacuum. One of the best most detailed hand car washes I've ever had ... I don't go for the gas.

I just had my SUV washed at the Chevron Hand Wash at 4748 Clayton Rd, Concord, CA. I paid just over $25.00 to have it cleaned. After wiping down my car for almost an hour, the wiper guy signaled that he was done. I told him I didn't see him clean the back windows or open the back door to clean. I pointed out the fingerprints on the windows. "My bad" was his comment and he cleaned the windows. I opened the back hatch and he started to pull it down to clean the window when the automatic closer started. "I can't clean that window" was his comment. I pointed out areas around the back door that were not even wiped once and that the top had not been wiped because you could still see the cobwebs on the rack. I said that he had done a poor job. His comment was, "Your attitude sucks"! One of the other car wipers heard him say that and just shook his head. I will not go back there again if that is the way they treat their customers. I bought a $16.99 car wash in November. I was unable to use it due to the holidays and the rain. Finally got a chance to go in today and they wouldn't accept it. I understand there is an expiration date stamped but it's not like they have to put the ticket into a machine to accept it. I paid for the service. There was rain. These people just don't care anymore. They have raised their prices and when I explained an issue I had with them last time, the guy who was the cashier was very indifferent and said it will be done. Well it wasn't and I had to point it out again! My daughter just returned from the same place and paid much more for their Bronze service that included interior cleaning, air freshener, etc. they wiped down the interior with a wet cloth they had just used to dry the exterior. No cleaning spray, nothing. Was not offered or given the air freshener. These 2 customers will not be returning! read more

The owner Abi is a complete asshole. Don't take your car there for a wash. I took my car for an exterior wash and the employee wiped down the inside unfortunately the interior tint on my window was scratched. I physically saw it happened and both the employee and the manger (Joshua) on duty acknowledge it. But once I spoke to the owner over the phone to try to get my issue resolved be blew me off and basically called me a liar. What a jerk! If I could give no stars a would. Not coming here anymore . I came in today for a wash/vacuum. When I got here there were 2 cars ahead of me, so I sat down to wait. 20 minutes and 5 other cars appearing out of the wash later, I went in to see what was the issue. I was told The wait was because my car needed to be vacuumed and the other 5 didn't. I call BS on that one. As I'm sitting here I see 2 of those 5 people drying their own cars. Not sure what that is about, but to each his own. My husband has also had issues here. He waited 1/2 hour and went o see why his car hadn't gone through yet. Well you see , he drives a stick shift and there wasn't anyone there who could pull hi car into/out of the wash! So they let him sit there instead of telling him or asking him to drive it through himself. I'm done with this place. read more
