Besides pumping at my usual spot, this location is a peace of mind. During this time, that is. Was very clean, light vehicle traffic. And the space here is spacious, dont feel crowded at all. This location is great because the fwy on ramp is literally adjacent to this place. Pump and go about your day. The price is reasonable compared to nearby locations. Why this place because of convenience and cleanliness. That plays a big role in my books. Besides filling up, the mini mart has just about anything you need for a quick grab. Price is fairly priced. This is usually my primary gas station based on location and convenience. However, it is not the cheapest. There's usually a ton of other cars so sometimes I have to wait for another car or two before I can pump my gas. There are always homeless people sitting/standing/walking at the entrance/exit of the gas station parking lot. I don't think this is the safest place to go especially at night so I tend to go in the morning, if at all. I've never had to go inside the shop for anything but if I do I will be sure to update my review. read more

This is a hit or miss, depending on when you go I guess. Stopped by here a few times over the past month. The clerk is normally friendly, but the pace can be slow if there is a line, since there is only one register. It's about 745am right now, Sunday morning 8/16/20, and I walk up to the mini market that's part of this Chevron gas station, and the doors are locked. Both of them. What kind of gas station doesn't open at 745 in the morning? I would've left, but I foolishly had a package sent to the Amazon locker located inside the market here. I stopped to get gas at Chevron 8032 Garden Grove Blvd. in Garden Grove. It had been raining off and on for part of the morning that I first asked if I could take photos of the food I bought at there store. The manager said that I was not allowed to take any photos. So I decided not to buy any food at there Extra Mile store. I did not fill comfortable even buying gas that I decided to leave. I had taken some outside photos and decided to post them. Waited an hour for the store to reopen because they had left and put up a sign saying they would come back in a hour. When did they open I went in and was grabbing a few things and the coworker yells out that I should hurry because he was going to go to lunch. I also wanted to buy a charger and he told me that there was no refunds even if it didn't work and kept asking if I understood after I said I did. Will not be coming back. read more

I came here a few weeks ago to use the restroom and pump gas. I walked into the convenience store to ask the clerk for the restroom. He told me it was unavailable as they had just moped it. I said I didn't mind, I just really needed to use it. He told me to go by the Taco Bell, where all the homeless people are. The clerk was a character. Javon or Davon was his name. He was a dude with a ghetto attitude. He started a verbal dispute with me, and he claimed to be the manager. I wasn't going to waste my time arguing with this guy, so I just walked out and headed across the street to Denny's. Later on, I call this place to put a complaint through. The actual manager there told me that Javon/Davon had several complaints against him. She told me that she was going to take disciplinary action against him. I haven't heard from her since then. The surrounding area is not too great. There are quite a few junkies hanging around the street, and there is prostitution going on a few blocks from here. I guess this is the shadier part of the OC. I won't be coming back here, but the rest of the OC is still great by my book. read more

Stopped here on the way to the park. Husband got gas and I went inside hopefully for a restroom and some snacks. Both cashiers were just talking to each other. Didn't greet me or say anything at all as I went around the store. BOTH restrooms were out of order, which was extremely irritating. Thought about getting snacks anyway, but as I walked around, the cashiers didn't even glance at me and continued their loud conversation and I just decided to not even bother. Homeless people are usually begging in the parking lot which is another big turn off. Would not stop here again. read more

Tweakers everywhere!!!!!!! Came here for gas and they were everywhere asking for change at the pump, chilling on the noind of grass and panhandling by the door. When I asked the clerk why they allow them to congregate he said "Its Ok" Avoid this place at all cost! read more

This is like I don't know how many times I've come to the Chevron station and they been doing to switch around and it takes him I don't know how long to switch why don't they just have a register already open for the next cashier when they come in so they don't have to turn around and people stand up for about a half hour waiting for them to reset everything six customers left we had we were sitting there tonight and it was just customers left six and I don't think that's very cool you're not gonna come back I'm a tell you something you're not gonna like that and I'm actually getting really tired of it it's getting ridiculous we come to get it to stop off to get something to drink and we have to wait a half hour freaking turn around and do the transfers that's not cool read more

I like the fact that this gas station has a lot of pumps and that it's well lit and very close to the fwy. Sometimes the pumps don't take debit/credit cards but only happens a few times. This location also has some sketchy people walking around. Even seen a few prostitutes walking around...Garden Grove really needs to clean up it's streets. Overall I like chevron gas but this station I will not go to if I'm alone at night. read more

Gas price is good. Location is good. Workers here have serious attitude issues. Poor management

So I came in here today at 9:30 pm for some snacks. I go to the cashier to pay. I ask the cashier guy a question about a promotion on the snacks. A simple question. I'm not sure if he was a new hire because he didn't know what was going on. So some lady named NELLY. Stepped in and explained in a rude ass attitude. And so I simple asked another question . That's when she said out loud chingada madre because I asked another question . I don't know what the hell she was thinking !!!!! She thought I didn't speak Spanish . So I told her excuse me ? Did you just cuss at me . And she said no I wasn't even talking to you I was saying it to the cash drawer . I was like no you clearly said it to me in Spanish. I asked for a manger and both employees didn't answer me . I just got so pissed. I've never been his mad or have I ever wrote a bad review on someone . I left the store telling NELLY I was going to let a manager know what happened . And of course she cared less . read more
