    Wash

Very convenient location, right off the 99. Very clean and kept. Lots of gas pumps. The market is large with lots of options. Friendly staff. Carwash is great.

Worst customer service ever! They get so distracted they forget to help customers. I asked to turn on the air pump and waited of 10 mind.

Worst customer service, was left over 10mins after going inside to ask them twice to turn on the air pump. They get so distracted and don't pay attention.

White stains all over my car

Went to get a brushless Carwash and while going through the wash, instantly we noticed a strong rotten smell. After the carwash, step outside and my car stank like sewage. I also had white stains all over my car. Seems like they don't empty their tanks that much and they had DIRTY recycle water. I went and spoke to the cashiers and they denied the wash using recycle water and it's fresh from the tap. I demanded a refund and they told me I had to talk to a female manager name DEO. Came back the next day and DEO denied any wrong doing and she did confirmed that they used recycle water. I told her my car stank after the wash and after minutes of arguing, she finally agreed to give my refund. She was very condescending and rude. And she had a very unusual amount of facial hair that I never seen on woman before. This place has the worst customer service, instead of nickeling and diming all your customers, invest into customer service! I'm taking my money elsewhere!!

The worker who followed me with the hose
    Teresa C.

On my way home to Lodi from Sacramento I decided to pull over at this Chevron gas station which is off of the Grantline Road exit. I like going to this Chevron instead of the other gas station that's on the other side of the freeway. At chevron I 1st pulled up to the building, I wanted to make sure it was open inside 1st because I had to use the bathroom real quick. Before getting out of the car I remembered that I needed to read a text message and reply back to them because I couldn't do so while I was driving on the freeway. I was in my car for maybe 4 minutes. Enough time for one of the workers to get frustrated with me being there I guess, but it hadn't even been enough time for my overhead light in my car to shut itself off like it usually does when I stop my car but still was sitting in it. All of a sudden I heard water getting closer and closer to me and I remember the sound being a bit confusing to me because I couldn't really tell what it was, it sounded like rain but it definitely wasn't raining but yet it sounded familiar. So I look around and I notice a man standing right outside my car door, almost a car length away from me, he was standing in the parking spot right next to where I was parked. For some reason he was spraying the ground, so close to my car it was basically underneath my car and plus around my tires. All up and down the left side of my car (the driver side). I was thinking to myself "well Teresa, how rude of me!" I was questioning myself if I just pulled in to this parking lot, not even noticing him cleaning, did I drive right on top of an area where he was cleaning? I was feeling pretty bad and immediately started my car and backed up. But as I was moving away I noticed there was nothing at all around on the ground that even needed to be cleaned, so I'm confused as to what he's doing. So now I decided to pull in front of a pump instead, finish my text message, which I was just about done with, run inside to use the bathroom real quick and get gas. Maybe 30 seconds goes by and I hear the same sound as I heard earlier of water getting closer and closer. Oh my goodness, now this worker is spraying behind my car for some reason. So I decided to ask him if I was in his way of cleaning or what was going on? Was there a problem because he was obviously trying to wash me out of the gas station. I mean now it's obvious he's purposely spraying the hose towards my car, I'm just not sure why. This station is huge. I'm definitely not parking in the dirty areas for sure. I said, "excuse me, but is there a problem with me sitting here for a few minutes trying to finish this text message that I'm typing because I was planning to use the restroom and then get gas and then get back on the freeway after I finish this message, but I feel like you're trying to push me off of this gas station property for some reason." He immediately snapped at me and started yelling at me and saying "you get off my property you don't need to be on property texting I'm trying to work and do my job, you text out on street and pointed to the road where it was dark and I felt safer parked under the lights of a gas station. I asked him why he needed to keep spraying the ground around where I was parked twice now, when the parking lot and gas pump area is so huge??? I told him he could start spraying at that end or that end and pointed in both directions because I was parked on the 2nd row in from the end. I mean now I'm also thinking to myself, wouldn't a person start spraying the ground to clean things up at one end or the other, not starting in the middle of the parking lot and then move over to the 2nd row from the end and skip all that other area. So I'm trying not to be rude, but I did ask him that question why do you keep spraying around my car? Like I said, he was yelling at me and saying I needed to text out there, and he also said all he is doing is cleaning, he's doing his job, that's all just his job. what do you want me to do? He says the same thing to me again and again. So I ask him if I can please take a picture of him doing his job then. I honestly don't know what he said at that point because I couldn't really understand him. All I know is at that point I did take his picture. But then I shut the door and was kind of just frozen for maybe 20 seconds. Not sure how to proceed. I knew I probably needed to go. I heard him talking to himself but I don't know what he said.

a gas station with cars parked in front of it

This Chevron is about as off the beaten path as a gas station can get in terms of convenience. There's not much of anything in the immediate area and it's not readily visible from the freeway either. Nevertheless, it's a fairly busy stopover. The lot itself was big and spacious with plenty of parking and modern, well functioning pumps. It was kind of annoying that there is only one turn in and out of the place, which caused a bit of a traffic jam on our departure. I'd also say the Extra Mile store, despite the name, did only the bare minimum in providing the basic snack goods we needed.

New gas station opened close to Kaiser and highway 99. I would say, it's nice and clean.

As a healthcare worker, I completely empathize with long wait times, and I was more than happy to circle back around when my medications were ready. However, I was told my medication would be ready in an hour, so I returned an hour later to wait in the drive thru line. After waiting in line for another hour, I was told that only one of my items were ready, and if I wanted to wait another hour the rest mighhht be ready. I left, but it would've been better if they had set up expectations from the beginning so that I didn't have to waste 2 hours waiting just to leave empty handed.

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

The only thing that would raise the stars on this review is to have social distancing marks on the floor for the customers in line. It would also keep a pathway for the customers entering to avoid having to cut through those in line to pay. The staff members was friendly. He smiled and didn't make me feel like the interaction was just a chore. The shelves were decently stocked considering it was a neighborhood convenient store. The location of products was a bit haphazard and what would be great and a five star review is some tags stating location of groups of items. Just a thought but I'm not going to be mad if it's not there when I return because it is a convenience store. To summarize the store is a a solid 3 stars and a pleasant interaction. The berries looked beautiful -- fresh, bright, and exactly what you want when you're making something special and don't want to risk disappointing fruit. Produce quality really does make a difference, especially when it's the star of the dish. I also ended up finding a garlic olive oil I've been looking for, which felt like a bonus win. Nugget is great for those moments when you need something a little more specialty and don't want to drive all over town searching for it. The store was clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out of, which I always appreciate when I'm just popping in for a few things during a busy day. It's one of those places where you can reliably find quality ingredients whether you're cooking something special or just grabbing everyday groceries. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

The pugliese bread is my favorite as it is soft, fluffy, and taste delicious! The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast.
