To the two gentlemen working here: your customer service was extremely disappointing. It seemed like you were more interested in being rude and difficult than actually helping a customer. I still don't understand how a simple gas station purchase of a lighter somehow became a "third-party" issue requiring both IDs--especially when I didn't even have my ID with me. Instead of simply explaining the policy respectfully, the interaction felt unnecessarily rude and frustrating. I honestly don't understand how this location has the rating it does. Customer service matters, even at a simple gas station. I won't be coming back. read more

No restrooms. I wanted the cash price, but I didn't know exactly how much that would be in dollars. "$20" she offered. " No, I will need a lot more than that." I'm standing there with a$100 bill in my hand. She told me to go to another Chevron. I tried to say, "well, maybe $60?" But she had already made up her mind that she didn't want my business. I had to leave, and I will never go back. read more

Stopped for gas on the way out. Convenient to the freeway. No wait at the pump during our visit. I stopped in to use the restroom and the employee was friendly. Restrooms were clean but no soap. Otherwise a positive experience. read more

2/12 around 7pm I head over to the gas station and the cashier is on a break. I understand everybody needs their break. Its unprofessional to have a conversation on your cellphone and cussing when your customers can hear you. How about taking a break when there are 2 employees and not being the only person working. read more

The guy who's shift is at night is completely rude and disrespectful. Doesn't know how to listen for shit. I've had multiple different problems with this specific worker. He's darker skinned and has a middle eastern accent. Told me they don't take $100 bills yet I've been here many times before and they have taken my $100's and there was never a problem. Beyond furious with this location. read more

On the way to Viejas, we were almost on empty and sadly landed into this particular location. We had to use a credit card but the machine had a broken keypad/screen so I had to go inside. Then I met Mohammed. Best cashier ever. (super sarcasm) When I pulled out a card and pointed to my car and my fueling station which I told him about 7 or 10 times. He could not understand a single word I said from "full tank" or "I want to buy gas." and even had me write down "full tank" on a blank receipt because he couldn't understand a thing. So after a few moments of trying to convey some understanding between us, I just told him that I would just rather have 25 dollars of gas by having me write it down again. After that point I just wanted to get out of there and almost left without signing. Interestingly, a woman before me asked if they had margarine, but obviously he had no idea what she was talking about. I empathize with him probably since English is probably not his first tongue, but really. He was so slow at what he was doing and people don't like spending their lives at gas stations. At least a manager could have been there to help him out or something. read more

Hey thanks guys for not securing your pin pads and card scanners! I loved having my account drained!!!!!

09/29/2013 - I entered the park lot of this station and stopped at pumped 5. I got out of the car to use my card to pump gas. The first time I entered the card it asked for my zip code and then it did not say pick up the pump. So I re-entered my card and this time it did. I started to pump my gas and it stopped on me. The amount pumped was $17.25. A person from the gas station appeared. She tells me that I have used the other person money to pump my gas and I need to step in a get a cash advance on my car to pay for the gas. She tells me that my card got DECLINED and I couldn't pump gas. I am looking at her confused by what she stated to me. I am fully aware that my card had funds on it to pump my gas. I asked, "What did you say?" You will need to step inside and pay for the gas you have used. I am like how did his money on my pump and I used my card. She says can you follow me. I get my purse out of my car and I am upset. This person didn't even say hello or I am sorry at all. This is not right or fair the way you just spoke to me about this issue. I do not work at here and how did this happen. She then goes behind the counter and start use the intercom to contact the other customer to ask what type of gas he wanted to pump. So you took his money placed it on the wrong pump and you don't know what he want to pump. She entered my total and swipes my card. She asked do you want more gas and I am like no just my receipt only. I leave and call back to the gas station at 7:29 p.m. for the manager. She tells me she is the Manager. I told her we all report to someone I want her Manager to contact me. She then proceeds to have a conversation with about the incident. I am like I don't want to talk to you take my name and number for your manager to call me. This was Saturday and I haven't heard from no one from this location. I only pump Chevron gas and the location I normally go to is off 2nd Street near my house. This was a quick stop that I wish I had never made! I am pissed. read more

Panhandlers asking for rides and money come up to you while you try to pump gas. The staff would do nothing but say it's their right. I paid cash and when I got home, the change had 2 of the bills torn and missing a half. If you go here, count your change and watch your back. read more
